Yes sure you can do the Maths as major in the PG. DOnt worry sure you can do PG in maths as your major.
All the universities india have give the chance of cross major. So try for any University which you want.
But you want to take the cross major better you continue with the physics. Physics has a very good scope now in the research station. So my choice is better continue with the physics major itself it will gain lot of opportunities.
