Yes you can do M.Arch after doing B.Tech.
But you have to give the exam of NATA for entering in the Architecture line and you have to clear that exam.

    Hi,
you are not eligible for the M.Arch because the civil engineering cannot have any chance to get admission in the M.Arch program as per the law.
    Sorry!!!!

Yes you can do M.arch after B.tech. The only thing you have to do is to clear the exam of NATA.
After that you can apply for the Architecture course.

sorry it is not possible to do M.Arch course because to do masters in architecture bachelors degree in same stream is required.
so only if you have done B.Arch or its equivalent you can join in M.Arch course
but after completing civil engineering and you are really interested in architecture you can do MURP which is also comes architecture and planning course for which eligibility is B.Arch or Bachelors degree in Civil engineering.
    gud luck

Re: Is it possible to do M.Arch after B.Tech in Civil Engineering?

Well sorry to say but you can not do M.Arch after completing the Btech in civil engineering.Because you
can pursue the master degree only in that subjects in which you have already done your graduation .So
you can do M tech civil engineering but you can not do M.Arch.

So you have option to do Mtech in civil engineering and for that you can take GATE exam which is done in
the national level for admission in the Mtech program in the IIT's.

Re: Is it possible to do M.Arch after B.Tech in Civil Engineering?

No, you can't do M.Arch after the completion of B.Tech. To do M.Arch one must satisfy the education qualification required to be eligible for it. For M.Arch it is Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) with 50% Marks. As you didn't have degree in architecture you are not eligible to do master course in architecture.

However you can join M.Tech course. M.Tech is also having lots of demand. You can also try for civil service exam. Beside this other option is to do MBA. All these options have good future scope. And if you want to do something in designing field like architecture then you can join the diploma courses for fashion designing, interior designing. You can become interior designer after the completion of diploma course.
All the best for your Career.

Re: Is it possible to do M.Arch after B.Tech in Civil Engineering?

    Hi there!
    >>You can pursue M.Tech through qualifying the GATE(graduate aptitude test in engineering)
    >>It takes place in the 2nd Sunday of the month of February each year.
    >>The eligibility for the same is given below:
You should be a graduate degree engineering holder from a AICTE approved institute.
    or
you should have a master degree in any stream of science.
There is no bound or specification for a branch to swith in B.Tech and M.Tech
    >>The seats are alloted through centralized counseling fby the IIT of your region.
You can choose branch and college as your choice relevant to your rank in GATE

    All the best.......
