    dear you can do CA COURSE AFTER YOUR B.COM COURSE,
    common proficiency test(CPT) is an entry level test for the charted accountancy ,you must pass 10+2 to eligible for this exam,
    • this test consists of accounting,
    • mercantile laws,
    • general economics,
    and quantitative aptitude which carries 200 marks, this test is an objective type test.
    the exam is divided into two sections like
    section-A
    • fundamentals of accounting,:- this carries 60 marks
    • merchant laws :-this carries 40 marks , you have to attempt in two hours
    section-B
    • general economics:-50 marks
    • quantitative aptitude:- 50 marks , you have to attempt this two in two hours.
    you have to get 50% of marks to qualify for the nest round .
    you have to buy the prospectus remitting rs.100 , the applications are available in the prospectus, and you can also download from the official website of ICAI,
    you have to pay the application forms in
    the branches at which you are going to pay is
    • Mumbai,
    • new Delhi,
    • Chennai,
    • Kolkata,
    • Kanpur
    this examination held twice in a year.
    the date of the exam is on 17th June ,2012.and you have to send the application forms before 25-04-2012. the date of the exam for December not yet received.
    after qualifying this course you will start your course in
    • professional competence course
    • final course,

    yes,it is possible do CA after B.com

    But you must have More then 55% in your b.com

    But for attempt exams you must completeITT,ORIENTATION and training for 7 months

    Then only you can eligible for IPCC Exams
