    Yes, You are eligible for UPSC Civil services examination to become IAS Officer.

    IAS Stands for Indian Administrative Service and this examination was conducted by UPSC Every year.

    And If you have already completed your Graduation with commerce subject then you are eligible to apply for UPSC Civil services examination. Final year Graduate candidates are also eligible for this examination, There is no minimum Percentage eligibility criteria to apply for this examination. If you have passed in your graduation degree course then you are eligible to apply for this examination.

    >> UPSC Civil services examination was held in Two Stages - Preliminary examination and Main examination, Firstly candidates have to cracked the preliminary examination and then they are eligible to sit in Main examination. Preliminary examination are Objective and there are 2 Papers in this examination and Both are of Same marks and Duration.

    Indian administrative services(ias) are the civil services where a lot of risks are but this service is good for those who want to play with risks,a very respectful position in India.To become an ias is very tough but nothing is impossible,a lot of dedication can make your dreams true of becoming an ias officer.Only Indian citizens are allowed to sit in ias examination.There are different exams as preliminary,written and interview test.Here i am providing you eligiblity criteria for ias. ELIGIBLITY-Eligiblity for ias is that a candidate must be graduate in any stream from a ugc recognized university.Minimum age eligiblity is 21 and maximum 30.Should be physicaly fit,should be Indian citizen. So you are eligible for ias exam.

    As completion of your degree you are eligible for IAS.
    IAS is civil services examination which is conducted by UPSC.
    The examination has conducted in 3 stages.
    -Civil services preliminary examination (CSP)-Normally conducted during the second half of the may.
    -civil services (main) examination conducted during the month of October/November.Here those who are selected in the preliminary examination only ar eligible to appear.
    -those who are select din the main examination will be eligible to appear before the interview .

    Eligibility criteria for IAS;

    Nationality:Indian
    Age limits:
    A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have the attained the age of 30 years.
    Educational qualifications:
    Bachelor degree of a recognized university with at least one of the subjects namely Animal husbandry & veterinary science,botany,chemistry,geology,mathematics,physi cs,statistics and zoology or a bachelors degree in agriculture,forestry or in engineering or an equivalent qualification.
    No.Of permissible attempts:
    4 attempts for general candidates , 7 for OBC and no limit for ST/SC candidates.

    If you fulfill those qualifications you are eligible for IAS.

    Ya you are eligible for indian administrative service(ias). The union public service commission(upsc) conducts exams in every year. For ias, the eligibility criteria is graduation in any stream and age limit is 21 to 30years. percentage in graduation is not required. Age relaxation :- for sc/st candidates, 21 to 35 years and no limit to attend exams. For bc candidates, 21 to 33years and 7times to attend. The exam contains preliminary, mains and interview.     Yes,you can apply for IAS.
    The eligibility for IAS is as follows:
    -Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
    -Age limit: 21-30yrs.

    The only requirement is a degree.There is no such criteria for percentage.
    So,you are eligible for IAS exam.

    All graduates are allowed to apply for this post. So candidates with commerce background can also apply. But it is a must the candidate should have studied the same from a recognised institute. Also you should be at least 21 years old when you apply for this exam. Even candidates who are 30 years old cannot apply for this exam. The application form for the next exam should be available in February 2012. If you plan to apply for this exam you need start preparing well in advance. You can visit the UPSC site to know the details of this exam.

    Dear Friend,
    I'm sorry you are not eligible.
    Since the eligibility criterion for appearing for the IAS exam is indeed a degree in Physics,Mathematics,Chemistry,Agriculture,........
    But not in Commerce.
    DON'T WORRY YOU HAVE MANY OTHER OPPORTUNITIES IN GOVT. SECTOR ITSELF.
    Look out for PSC's.

    Yes , It is to become IAS officer after completing Graduation in Commerce with only 50% , What is required for IAS exam is graduation degree .


    B]Eligibility IAS exam [/B]

    You should have degree from any recognized university .
    If you have appeared for final year examination you are also eligible .
    Candidates only between 21 years to 30 years are eligible for exam .

    Definitely you can become IAS officer,if you are serious about your career.You can appear for IAS exam with pass percentage in any stream in graduation degree.For more details,then see the below mentioned information.

    Indian Administration Service (IAS) exam is conducted by upsc every year once.
    Indian Administration Service has three phase of examination process,first is Preliminary exam (current affairs,Vocabulary,aptitude will be the syllabus),if you qualifies this exam,then only you can enter to Second phase of exam i.e Main exam (Geography,History etc syllabus,all the question should answer in eassy type),if you crack this exam,then only you can enter to third phase exam i.e is Interview (Communication skill testing).After overcoming all this exam,you will be appointed as Asst IAS officer.

    EDUCATION QUALIFICATION
    You have bachlor degree in one recogniged sub. as
    namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physcs, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Enginerring or an equivalent qualification .
    NO OF ATTEMPT
    seven attempt for OBC

    *IAS stands for INDIAN ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES and the recruitment for this post is conducted through the exam Civil services which is conducted by UPSC(UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION).

    *This exam is conducted every year once in the month of June and mains in the month of September.

    *The notification for this exam comes out in the month of January.

    THE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR THE IAS EXAM IS:

    1)A candidate need to be a graduate in any field from any recognized university.

    2)A candidate must be an INDIAN CITIZEN.

    3)A candidate's age must be between 21 to 30 years.

    4)There is a relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates.

    5)The candidate's in their final year are also eligible for the exam but they have to submit their original certificates when they will be joining.

    6)Number of attempts: There is some restrication on the number of attempts according to the category.

    Dear friend

    any one who has a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university are eligible for IAS exam.
    also if age between 21 to 28 years for general students and 30 years for obc student.
    so if you fullfil the age criteria than you are also be able to give the IAS exam

    for this clearing the exam you have to work hard for this because it is the toughest exam of INDIA.

    Yes, it is possible to become an IAS officer after completing Graduation in commerce and in any other stream .
    The education criteria to become an IAS officer is Graduation.
    So you can apply for IAS examinations.

    Yes it is possible to become IAS officer after completing Graduation in Commerce with 50% marks.

    Because minimum eligibility for IAS is you have to passed Graduation from any recognise univercity.

    To become an IAS officer a candidate should have a minimum educational
    qualification as graduation in any field from any recognized university.

    Age limit:21 to 30 years and for sc/st a relaxation of 5 years and for obc candidates
    a relaxation of 3 years.

    Number of attempts:for general candidates it is four attempts
    for obc candidates it is seven attempts
    and for sc/st candidates there is no limit on number of attempts.

    You are eligible to apply for upsc exam
    There is no minimum criteria for percentage in graduation.

    IAS officer post is given to that candidate who qualify all the examinations conducted for IAS post.
    For IAS post UPSC every year conducts the IAS examination .

    The any stream of candidates can apply for IAS exam.

    Exam pattern :
    The exam held in two stages :
