    hi dude...

    IAS eligibilty criteria is as follows:-

    Academic Qualification is Graduation course from any recognised university.

    Age Limit is 21-31 years (3 years relaxation for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST)


    Number of permissible attempts is4 attempts (7 attempts for OBC and unlimited for SC/St)

    Fee is 100 rupees (no fees for SC/ST).

    Hello friend,
    yes,obviously you can became IAS officer after completion of your graduation in B.Tech IT course...
    to be eligible for IAS entrance exam,the eligibility criteria is as follows:
    -»you must be completed graduation with minimum 55% in any course from reputed university...
    -»the age limit to apply for IAS entrance exam must be between 21-30years...
    so after passing IAS entrance exam, you can become an IAS officer...

    Yes, You are eligible for IAS Officer examination !!!

    And If your aim is to become IAS Officer in future then you need to apply for the UPSC Civil services examination, The examination was conducted by UPSC Every year.

    Eligiblity Criteria for UPSC Civil services examination -

    >> You need to be a graduate in any discipline form a recognised university.
    >> Your age should between 21 to 30 years
    >> Final year Graduate candidates are also eligible to apply for this examination

    The examination was Held in Two Parts, Preliminary examination and Main examination. The Preliminary examination was Held in the month of June Every year and If you have cracked the Preliminary examination, then you are eligible for Main examination.

    The Preliminary examination Pattern was already changed and now there are 2 Papers in This examination and Both are Objective type. After Clear the Preliminary examination you are eligible for Main examination and In Main examination you need to choose the Optional Subjects as per the Graduate subjects Basis.

    So, After completing your B.tech IT course you are eligible for UPSC Civil services examination.

    The Schedule of UPSC Civil services examination for Next year examination was Updated in the Official website and If you are Interested then please apply for Next year examination, The Notification was Updated in the Official website OR also in the Employment newspaper In the Month of February and If you need More Information then check the Official Website.

    Eligible candidates may fill the application form Online OR Obtained the application form directly form the Post offices In India.

    It's nice to hear that you want to become IAS officer .IAS is a civil service exam conducted by UPSC evey years .As you said that you have completed B.Tech IT. It means you are graduate .
    So my dear friend you are eligible for IAS.
    Eligibility criteria for IAS :-
    1.A candidate should be graduate in any discipline .
    2.A candidate should have at least 50%in graduation .
    3.A candidate should be citizen of India .
    4.Age limit for general 21-30 years.
    5.Age limit for OBC 21-33 years.

    Yes , You are applicable for IAS exam but if you have completed your graduation degree.You are from B.Tech IT department so you are applicable for IAS exam.

    This exam is conducted by UPSC in once time in year.If you have cleared the civil service exam then you are applicable for IAS training.

    Those candidate are graduate from any recognized university with any discipline are eligible for IAS exam.There is no marks criteria.

    But your age should be in between 22 to 30 years old.Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC category as per govt rule.

    The maximum attempts for SC/ST candidate is Unlimited. For OBC candidate it is 7 years and for general candidate it will be 5 years.

    Also you must be in citizen in India.

    Optional subjects for IAS main exam:

    Economics , Electrical Engineering,Geography, Geology ,History, Law,Management,Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Medical Science, Philosophy, Physics, Political Science and International Relations, Psychology, Public Administration, Sociology,Statistics, Zoology, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Anthropology,Botany, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, Commerce and Accountancy.

    You can choose the subject in sense of your strength .

    The IAS selection process is consist in three way.If you have completed Preliminary exam then you are applicable for IAS mains exam.

    1)Preliminary exam
    2)Main exam
    3)Inter View.

    Interview is not too tough but Mains exam is too tough so you can prepare well of the mains exam.

    Obviously it is possible to become an IAS officer after completing b.tech in IT.
    The eligibility criteria for IAS is Graduation in any stream within 20-30 years of age.
    Sop if u have enough knowledge in administration, then just apply for IAS exam to fulfill your dream....
