    Hello Friend,

    The Exam Is Conducted By UPSC Twice a Year.



    The Minimum eligibility required for the Food Inspector is Graduation From Any Recognized University.

    Required Eligibility:

    1) You need to be a graduate in engineering from a recognised university.

    2)If you are a final year student you can also apply for this.

    3)If you have a degree of BHMCT then you are applicable for the food inspector exam.

    4)You need To write UPSC entrance Exam.

    5)If you are qualified then only you are eligible .


    Age Limit:

    >The Age should between 21 to 30 for general category.

    > There is A relaxation of 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST.

    If you have the above qualifications then you are eligible for Food Inspector Job.

    Well sorry to say you are not eligible for Food Inspector exam.
    Eligibility for food Inspector exam:

    Educational qualification:

    You must be graduate in medicine and must have received at least one month training in food inspector and sampling work approved by the central Government or State Government.
    Or You have to complete your Bachelor's degree in any of the science subjects.they have studied the chemistry as a subject.Graduates in agriculture/Pharmacy/Food technology/Dairy Technology are also eligible to apply for the test.

    Age limit:

    You age should in between 21-35 years.

    my friend,
    yes,you can become If you satisfy all eligiblity given bellow:

    To become a food inspector ,you should graduate B.E/B.tech (IT) or in B.C.A from recognized universtiy.
    you have also 120 hour experience with Information technology or in personal computer in office productivity.
    Age limit :18 to 35 year.
    5 year relaxation for Sc/ST category.

    No , you should have graduation in any of the following fields for being eligible for Food Inspector .

    Eligibility food inspector
    • You should have graduation from any recognized university in following disciplines .
    Chemistry
    Agriculture
    Biology

    • Age of Student should be 21 years to 35 years.


    Physical standard requirements food inspector
    • Height of candidate --------157.5 cms.
    • Chest measurement --------81 cms

    No, you are not eligible for becoming a food inspector after hotel management. The minimum eligibility criterion for becoming a food inspector is a graduation in the science subjects. They should have under gone training in the area of food inspection. They must have studied chemistry as the major subject. You must be between 21-30 years. The candidates who have done graduation in dairy or food technology, agriculture, pharmacy are eligible to apply. You should secure the graduation from a recognized university or institute.

    Food Inspector Exam

    Food Inspector exam is conducted by the UPSC every year .The examination is conducted in national level to recruit students to food inspector post .

    Eligibility ::

    The interested candidates should be graduates in any of the science subjects/Agriculture / Pharmacy / Food Technology / Dairy Technology from a recognized college.

    You should be between 21 to 35 years of age as on 01 July 2010. There is relaxation for the reserved category candidates in upper age limit .

    Since you have done hotel management which means that you can apply for the food inspector exam.

    Pattern of the examination ::

    The examination is done in two phases ::

    1.Written test
    2.Interview .

    Written exam consist of ::

    English language.
    science subjects
    numerical ability
    General Knowledge

    Another way to become a food inspector is ::


    Procedure to become food inspector ::

    1.Get bachelor degree in food safety or in agriculture, biology or chemistry.

    2.Once you have the bachelor degree you can join any certification courses offered by your local bureau of food and meat inspection.

    3.After this apply for USDA Inspection Training Program. You can download the application form
    the United Fresh Produce Association website.

    4.Apply to companies and agencies seeking food inspectors.

    Union Public Service Commission conducts All India Food Inspector exam for the recruitment of Food Inspectors in various offices within the country

    EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:-


    Food inspector examination is conducted by UPSC as well state Public service commission.

    The main function of food inspector is to Examine the food quality and quantity in various industries/hotels/organization and etc

    You must be a graduate in Medicine.
    Or
    Candidate should have graduate in Science with Chemistry as one of the subject
    or
