Re: Physical requirements for an IAS selection?

The IAS exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission. There is no said physical criteria’s for attending the IAS exam. The only important point is that the candidates should not be suffering from any kind of contiguous diseases. The candidate should be a graduate in any discipline while applying for the IAS exam. The candidates should be between 21 – 30 years. There is relaxation in case of the reserved categories, physically handicapped persons in case of the age limits. It is for the IPS officer post that the physical criteria’s are specified.
