    Is a Person eligible for IAS Exam after completing Degree with few Backlogs?

    Hello sir/madam
    can a person write IAS exam by having backlogs in his degree......?

    IFYOU HAVE BACK IN ANY SUBJECT THEN THERE IS NO PROBLEM .
    BUT YOU SHOULD BE GRADUATE WITH MINIMUM 55%.
    ITS NICE TO HEAR THAT YOU WANT TO BECOME IAS OFFICER .
    NOW I AM TELLING YOU THE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
    FOR IAS OFFICER WHICH ARE AS FOLLOWS : -
    I] A CANDIDATE SHOULD BE GRADUATE FROM ANY STREAM .
    2] HE SHOULD BE PASSED GRADUATION BY 55%.
    3] HE SHOULD BE PHYSICALLY FIT
    FOR EXAM POINT OF VIEW A CANDIDATE WILL HAVE TO SELECT
    TWO SUBJECTS OF HIS CHOICE .AFTER HE SHOULD BE
    PREFECT IN THEIR PARTICULAR SUBJECTS . AFTER CLEARING THE EXAM
    A CANDIDATE HAVE TO FACE INTERVIEW AFTER CLEARING THE A CANDIDATE IS ELLIGIBLE FOR
    IAS OFFICER . BEST OF LUCK.

    if you have backlogs in degree then you firstly clear all the backlogs in degree because the minimum qualification of i.a.s exam is graduation and if your backlogs in degree then you not became graduate.for i.a.s exam you will became graduate with minimum 60% marks and you should be physically fit. you choose two subjects in own choice when you clear this exam then you eligible for i.a.s post.

    No, You are not eligible for IAS Examination because you are not Clear Passed in your Graduation.

    So, Please clear your Backlog first and then you are eligible for UPSC Civil services examination to become IAS/IPS Officer. But if you will be able to clear your Backlogs before the IAS Results, Only then you can appear in main examination. Final year graduate candidates are also eligible for UPSC Civil services examination.

    To apply for this examination your age should between 21 to 30 years and you must be a graduate in any discipline form a recognised University. There is no minimum percentage eligibility criteria to apply for this examination. Eligible candidates may fill the online application form by visit the official website.

    The Notification of this examination was published in the employment newspaper or in the UPSC website in the month of February every year, for this year examination was already completed and next year examination notification. The schedule of next year examination was updated in the UPSC Official website.

    The UPSC Civil services Preliminary examination notification was published in the month of February i.e on 04/Feb/2012 and the last date of apply for this examination was 05/03/2012.

    The application form are also availiable in the designated post offices in India, You can also Obtained from there OR fill the Application form Online. So, Please clear your Backlogs and then you are eligible to apply for this examination, Candidates must be cleared passed in Graduation to apply for UPSC civil services examination.

    >> General candidates will gets only 4 attempts to crack this examination, OBC Candidates will gets 7 Attempts and No attempts for SC, ST candidates.

    no you are eligible to do ias exams

    eligibility for ias:-

    **finished graduation in any stream

    **age limit is 21 to 30 years

    **then apply union public service commission

    first finish your graduation and then apply

    No, you can not apply for IAS exam with few backlogs.
    To apply for IAS exam you must have completed your graduation with passing marks.
    so , first clear all your back logs, then you can apply for IAS exam.

    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:-

    - YOU MUST BE INDIAN CITIZEN TO APPLY FOR THIS EXAM.
    - YOU MUST BE A GRADUATE DEGREE HOLDER .
    - A CANDIDATE WHO HAS COMPLETED HIS/HER GRADUATION FROM TECHNICAL/PROFESSIONAL COURSE CAN ALSO APPLY FOR THE EXAM.
    - A FINAL YEAR CANDIDATE IS ALSO ELIGIBLE TO APPLY.
    - ONLY PASSING MARK IS REQUIRED TO APPLY IN THE EXAM.
    - YOUR AGE SHOULD NOT BE LESS THAN 21 YEARS & NOT MORE THAN 30 YEARS.
    - UPPER AGE RELAXATION IS GIVEN TO SC/ST, O.B.C CANDIDATES.
    - FOR SC / ST - 5 YEARS OF RELAXATION, AGE LIMIT IS 21-35 YEARS.
