    Is a person eligible for IAS Entrance if he has backlogs(Cleared Later) in degree?

    can a person who has failed in his degree and later obtained his degree in second attempt eligible to IAS exam?

    dear friend,

    yes ,if you clear your backlogs then you are egligible for ias test .
    in ias test the two stages are :
    first is prelim and anotheer is main stages.
    if you clear the prelim then you reach the main stages.

    yes my freind u are eligible for the IAS as the minimumeligibility is that u should be a graduation holder and just passing in it tere ius no even % criteria that u have to atleast get thsi this much % age of marks in your graduation..
    so my freind u are eligible based on your academic qualificatio

    in age criteria u must be atleast 21 years of age while writing this exam...ok my friend...go for it all the best....

    main
    interview

    Yes definitely !!!

    You should have a backlogs,it is not a matter and Only graduation is eligible for the civil service examination.After clearing your backlogs you are definitely eligible to write the I.A.S entrance examination.There is no minimum percentage for this entrance examination,Only thing you should graduation in any desire subject and those in the final year of a graduation may also eligible to apply for this examination.
    For this examination,the candidate age should between 21 yrs to 30 yrs of age as on August 1st of the year of examination.Relaxation in age limit is given to various reserved categories like OBC/SC/ST.

    This entrance examination was conducted by Union Public Service Commission every year.

    The entrance examination is divided into three parts.

    Preliminary Examination
    Main Examination
    Interview.

    If you want to become a I.A.S Officer then the candidate need to clear the all the levels of Civil Service Examination.

    Yes, you are eligible for the IAS Entrance examination if you have backlogs(cleared Later) in degree.

    Yes, If any candidates get Backlogs in his academics and he is able to clear all the backlogs, then Yes they are eligible to apply for IAS Entrance Examination. So, If you have completed Your graduation examination in any discipline from a recognised university then you are eligible to apply for UPSC Civil services examination to become IAS/IPS Officer.

    Eligiblity Criteria For UPSC Civil Services Examination -

    - You Must have a Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognised university.
    - Your age should between 21 t0 30 years.
    - Final Year Graduate candidates are also eligible to apply for this examination.

    So, If you have passed your graduate examination and clear your all the backlogs, then you are eligible for UPSC Civil services examination. The Examination was conducted by UPSC every year and the notification was published in the employment newspaper OR in the UPSC website in the month of February.

    Eligible candidates May apply for this examination online by visit the UPSC website, The application form are also availiable in the Post offices in India. General candidates may apply for this examination 4 Times, 7 attempts for OBC Candidates and No limits for SC, ST candidates. Upper age relaxation is applicable for SC, ST, OBC and Other reserved category Candidates.

    The examination was conducted in Two stages, First Preliminary examination and If you have clear the Preliminary examination then you are eligible to sit for Main examination and After clear the main examination candidates will called for Interview. The Preliminary examination was totally Objective Type and there are 2 paper of 200 marks each But you have to choose optional subject in Main examination.

    Hello,
    obviously if you have pass your graduation In 2nd attempt/try then also you can apply for IAS entrance exam....
    to be eligible to apply for IAS entrance exam you have to complete your graduation in any field and any course with minimum 55%...
    so yes you can apply for IAS entrance exam..

    if you clear your backlogs than you are eligible otherwise you are not eligible.........

    the details of IAS Entrance examination
    Date of Notification - 19/Feb/2011
    Last Date for Receipt of Applications - 21/Mar/2011
    Date of Exam - 12/June/2011.
    So, if you are interested to apply for civil services examination, then please apply for this exams before 21st/March/2011.
    After completing this dates, You can not apply for IAS 2011 Examinations.
    -Eligibility Criteria For IAS
    (i) Age limits :
    21-30 years as on 1.7.2011. (Upper age limit relaxable for SCs/STs, OBCs and certain other categories as specified in Para 3(ii) of Notice).
    (ii) Educational Qualifications :
    Bachelorís degree of a recognised university with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physcs, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Enginerring or an equivalent qualification (Para 3(iii) of Notice).

    (iii) No. of permissible attempts :
    Four (Seven attemps of OBCs and no limit for SCs/STs (Para 3 (iv) of Notice)
    (iv) Fee :
    Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only)
    (No fee for SCs/STs/Physically disabled only)

    The candidates who have graduation degree passed from recognized university are eligible for examination.
    For IAS you need to appear in examination which the upsc conducte.
    The upsc conduct the examination for IAS,IPS,IFS,IES post.
    The candidate who qualify the examination are placed in government companies.
    So for appearingfor IAS you need to complete your graduation from any stream.
    Age limit:
    minimum age 21 and maximum 30 years.
    For obc,sc/st age relaxation is given.
    Obc 3 years relaxation.
    Sc/st 5 years.
