Hello friend, first of all i congrats you. You have two best career options in your hands. If you have good financial condition, go with m.tech. Otherwise go for job. Improve the financial condition, then do higher studies. Choose your career with your choice. Best of luck

If you are able to clear the GATE exam then certainly that is the option you must select. This is only if you able to secure admission in the top institutes like IIT, NIT. If you are able to secure admission which donot figure in the top 10 then you can take up the job offer. You must then try to gain experience of 1 or 2 years. In the mean time do prepare again for this exam. If required join any training institute for this purpose. You must aim to join a reputed institute if you wish to reach heights in your career.

Re: Which option should I choose if I clear GATE entrance and also get a offer through Campus Placements?

Dear friend.
clearing the GATE exam means to land into the M.tech field.
That depends on you wether you are academically oriented or the job oriented.

>>If you are academically oriented then you can take up the specialisation you want to go with.
Based on my advice you should go with the M.tech in ECE as this field is on the top of the streams with excellent job opportunities free from the impact of recession and the market fluctuations. Areas where you get placed include telecom, hardware, networking, VLSI, embedded system design, mobile computingcentral, state governments for the posts of the section offices, assistant engineer, technical officer, telecom officer, etc...
The job prospects even in the Indian defence and the civil services is also quite good.
The top multinational companies hiring them are infosys, logitech, wipro, HCL, NIIT, LG, STM, i-GATE, etc...
ALL this after our M.tech through the GATE score.

>>If you are job oriented then also you can get the well settled jobs after your B.tech or B.E which entirely based on your academic performance and not the experience.
The pay scale will not be as good as M.tech.,

so I would advice you to go for the GATE and if you get a job offer from the college then leave that as it will not be that much satisfying than what you get after the M.tech.

::GOOD LUCK::

Dear friend ,
I would suggest that you should goto further education after GATE.because you will gate better job after comleting higher education.
You may not remain in mental postion of taking higher education after 1 or 2 year of job.
But if your economical condition is not good then you can think about 2nd option.

Re: Which option should I choose if I clear GATE entrance and also get a offer through Campus Placements?

Dear sister,

It is difficult to choose an option between ;
-Higher studies or going for a Job after your B.tech...
I would suggest you to go for higher studies:::

*If you are economically efficient and don’t need a job, it is better you go for your further studies. A specialization will always earn you more salary as well as priority during interviews and of course sound grip over subject.
*If you get a good rank in GATE
or If you dont have much opportunities with your B.tech which insists with an Average percent..
* If you got a good rank like below 1500 then,
without any idea, you go for M.tech
Because you can get into IIt's or NIT's with that rank and you can have better salary packages after doing M.tech from them....
And you can easily get the jobs if you do from top colleges....

I suggest you to going for a job :::::

*If your Financial status is not good or you are more interested in doing the job and want to become independent after your B.tech..
*Or if you dont score a good rank in GATE.....
*If you placed in good company immediately after your B.tech(Even after not scoring good rank in gate)
*It is good if you get a job during the campus placements itself because it is really difficult to find a job after you come out of the college. However there are various kinds of jobs in Software industry which you get accordingly as your course of study or your specialization.... It is ok if you do job for sometime and start studying again for your P.G courses....

So decide your career now itself and prepare accordingly to reach your goal sister.....

All the best .........

Friend,

*If you are interested in higher studies then you should go for higher studies because this is the thing whichm you
can do and earn a lot of money.

*The higher studies should be done just after the B.TECH degree because now you are in touch with your studies
and you can cop up good.

*So it will be easy for you to do M.TECH and you will get a nice job after M.TECH.

hello
first of all congrates for being selected in placements. you are now in dilema that whether to join in placement offered job or do further studies.
its totally depend on your intrest what you want to do. its totally depend on your aim and achievements that you thought before.
from my if you cleared a gate exam and got a good college to study then opt for that because if you get good college then they will also provide you stiffend also.
so rather than go for job here you will get money as well as further studies. with that further studies you will gain more higher place in future jobs.
so think well.accoding to your intrest opt the better one as a future goal.

Re: Which option should I choose if I clear GATE entrance and also get a offer through Campus Placements?

Basically it depends on your interest .
If you are interested in higher studies than go for M.tech.
If you want to earn money after completing your bachelor degree then go for job.
If you dont have financial problem for your further studies than you can take admission in M.tech.
So think sincerly what you have to choose which give you better career in future i.e. M.tech or Job .
From my opinion i want to suggest you for M.tech if you have opt good rank in GATE because you get chance to study in top most colleges of INDIA. And after getting your M.Tech degree you have better opportunites for your job.
You get high pay salary job if you opt the Higher degree after your graduation.

hi..
it is easy to earn money but the important thing in life is self satisfaction...if you are getting high package but still you are not happy and unsatisfied then after some years you will feel suffocation there so better to opt that option which make you more satisfied....i would suggest you to go for higher studies just to explore yourself and to get exposure , you will definitely gain something different for sure...rest it all depend on your choice and interest..best of luck
