CAT (COMMON ADMISSION TEST)
This entrance exam is for 13 IIM'S mainly and most of the colleges calculate CAT score for the MBA admission and more than 30+ institutes prefer CAT scores for selection, so dear you have to work hard in this entrance exam.
the test consists of 2 sections

• Quantitative Ability (QA) & Data Interpretation (DI)
• Verbal Ability (VA) & Logical Reasoning (LR)

CAT 2013 will be 140 minutes long. You will get 70 minutes to answer 30 questions within each section which will have an on-screen countdown timer. Once the time ends for the first section, you will have to move to the second section and will no longer be able to go back. So you should review your answers for the 1st section, within the first 70 minutes.

you have to purchase CAT 2013 voucher from any of the branches of Axis Bank between 29 July – 24 September 2013.
CAT 2013 Registration Process
After purchasing the CAT 2013 Voucher, you must log on to the website www.catiim.in to register for CAT 2013. You can register and schedule for the CAT 2013 from 5 August – 26 September 2013.
CAT 2013 Fees
The CAT 2013 test fees is Rs.1600 for general candidates and Rs.800 for SC and ST candidates.

GMAT
GMAT is conducted by Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) and it is held all year round (except weekends and public holidays) at specific test centers across the globe. A passport is the mandatory primary form of identification required.
You can take the test no more than five times within a year and once in any calendar month.
registration fee
The registration fee for the GMAT® is USD 250. If you want to reschedule the date, time, or location of your test you have to pay a rescheduling fee of USD 50. There is a USD 80 refund if you cancel the test a minimum of seven days before your test date.
structure of the Test

• AWA : (one Issue and one Argument) contains 2 questions and you have to complete with in 30 minutes for each essay

• Verbal: about 14 Reading Comprehension Questions (3 passages), 10 Critical Reasoning Question and 17 Sentence Correction Questions) contains 41 questions and you have to complete with in 75 minutes

• Quantitative (about 13 Data Sufficiency, and 34 Problem Solving) contains 47 questions you have to complete with in 75 minutes
