    No certificate or valid mark sheet issued for my HS equivalent course BPP offered by IGNOU.

    I have completed my BCOM with 67% through IGNOU, after doing a course named BPP its equivalent to Higher Secondary having course duration of 6 months.
    The problem is that i have the mark sheet and certificate for my B Com, but IGNOU dint issue me any certificate for my BPP (they have just intimated in their particular post card about my marks obtained, that post card cant be used for showing to any employer as there is a disclosure that it should not be treated as certificate, neither there is full name of subject etc). Many times i had approached to IGNOU but they are not helpful they just say that that post card is enough. But logically what i see, it is not so. Once i wrote a mail to IGNOU but i got no reply.
    May be I am contacting the right person for my this issue.
    Can you please help me in this regard whether for this course i will get my certificate or not.
    If not then how to face any govt/private interview for this issue?

    First of all, you have made your question very clear. It is unfortunate that this is happening.

    You could try to contact the Student Support Services and Student Grievances at IGNOU. The address is as follows: Deputy Director, Student Service Centre, IGNOU, New Delhi-110 068, E-mail: ssc@ignou.ac.in, Telephone Nos. : 2953 3869, 2953 3870, Fax: 2953 5714. You could request them to look into this matter and issue the certificate at the earliest. The Examination Date-sheet is available at the Asstt. Registrar (Exam II), SR&E Division, IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi-110 068.

    Bachelor’s Preparatory Programme (BPP) is offered by the IGNOU University to those students who wish to do Bachelor’s Degree but do not have the essential qualification of having passed 10+2. As far as BPP is concerned it is not treated equivalent to +2, it enables a student to get a graduation from IGNOU and there is no separate certificate that is awarded for BPP by the university.

    IGNOU’s Bcom degree course is recognized equalent to similar degree course from any other university. It is found that many universities do not make any distinction between the two types of graduation and thus BPP course shouldn't necessarily affect your career. So even you don’t have the certificate you can show your Bcom certificate for getting job in Government or private sector and still you face any problem you can write a letter to the Director SR&ED, IGNOU stating your difficulty.

    I also done bcom from ignou after doind bpp cource.And not get any certificate. I think it is not Eqilent to +2.

    Can C.A. / C.S. courses can be done after doing bpp for two years in ignou??

    I gave the BPP exam & got passed but without issuing any certificate or marks sheet they have enrolled me in B.Com
    I asked here in Study center (Riyadh-KSA) they said there is no certificate issuiung for BPP.

    course but my sugesion to ignou is to make a cert. Of bpp for onlY information

    i have done my BPP and now doing Graduation Bcom so can i get admission in CWA , CS , CA please help me and one more thing i have seen many courses on website some of them like International bussiness so if is something there then please let me know the whole things!!!!!!
