    IBPS Stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection Common Written Examination is conducted for recruitment of Clerical / Probationary Officer / Management Trainee in 19 Public Sectors Banks .

    Nationality :-

    Applicant must be a citizen of India,

    IBPS Clerks Education Qualification :-

    Applicant must have a completed SSLC with 60% or equivalent of a reputed Institution OR Applicant must have a minimum education qualification of 10+2 Pattern School Education 50% OR equivalent of a reputed Institution OR Applicant must have degree from a recognized University .

    IBPS Probationary Officer Education Qualification :-

    Applicant must have a minimum education qualification of bachelor's degree with any discipline of Commerce / Science / Technology / Arts / Other Stream from a recognized University or equivalent qualification and No minimum aggregate marks required for IBPS PO examination .

    Age Criteria for Clerks :-

    To apply for IBPS Clerks Required age limits , you must have a minimum 18 years and maximum 28 and Upper age limits is applicable .

    Age Criteria for Probationary Officer :-

    To apply for IBPS Probationary Officer Required age limits , you must have attained the age of 29 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years and Upper age limits is applicable .

    If you have graduation degree then you are applicable for IBPS PO Exam because IBPS PO not require any percentage marks .Your age should be in between 21 to 30 years old.

    Dear Friend , you are absolutely eligible for IBPS exam because you fulfills the nationality criteria for IBPS exam .

    the nationality criteria for IBPS exam is :

    * you must be a citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal , or a suject of Bhutan.

    IBPS exam is conducted by Institute of Banking Personnel.


    It is a common written exam for 19 government banks and is conducted twice a year.


    The exam is for Bank P.O and clerical posts.


    Score card is given to the candidates on the basis of which they can apply for interview in these 19 banks.


    The score card is valid for 1 year from the date of issue.

    To apply for IBPS Clerical examination,you should fulfil these criteria:-


    You must have Passed with 60% marks in the aggregate, in the Higher Secondary School Examination or 50% Marks in Intermediate examination or its equivalent of recognized Educational Board,



    OR You must have complete a degree from UGC recognized University.



    To apply for this examination your age should between 18 to 28 years.



    The selection is based on written test and personal Interview.



    Maximum marks for interview will be 100. Minimum qualifying marks in interview are 50% for General Category and 45% for reserved category.

    To apply for IBPS PO Examination,following is the eligibility criteria:-

    You must have completed your Graduate degree course in any discipline from a recognized University



    Your age should between 20 to 30 Year ( Upper age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC Candidates,)

    To apply for this examination you must be either: a Citizen of India OR a subject of Nepal OR a subject of Bhutan.


    So,being a Nepalese,you are eligible for IBPS.


    The exam paper consists of following two parts:-

    1. Objective exam:- It is of 150 minutes duration with subjects like reasoning, english, quantitative aptitude, general awareness and computer knowledge.

    2. Descriptive exam:-
    It is of 60 minutes duration with the subjects like essay writing, precise, letter writing and english composition. There are total 250 questions and

    total marks are 250.


    There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks per question.

    IBPS stands for Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection and it is conducts the common written examination for the post of PO and Clerical Cadre, twice in a year. To apply for this examination you must be either: a Citizen of India OR a subject of Nepal OR a subject of Bhutan. If you are Nepali then you are eligible for this examination. You can apply for Bank PO as well as Clerical examination as per your eligibility.

    To apply for Bank PO Examination, you have to complete your Graduated degree course in any discipline from a recognised University, You not need to scored any minimum percentage to apply for IBPS Examination. To apply for this examination your age should between 20 to 30 Years, Upper age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC Candidates.

    To apply for Clerical examination you have to fulfill any one of the examination. Firstly, you have to complete your 10Th examination with minimum 60% Marks OR You have to complete your 12Th examination with minimum 50% Marks OR You have to complete your Graduate degree course in any discipline from a recognised University.

    The Notification of Clerical examination will be declared in the month of July/August 2012. When the Notification declared, it will be updated in the official website, eligible candidates may fill the application form online Only. To apply for this examination, your age should between 18 to 28 years, Upper age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC Candidates.

    The examination is Objective as well as Descriptive. Clerical examination is Only Objective. But the Examination is Descriptive as well as Objective.

    Those who cracked this examination will get score card from IBPS and the validity of score card is 1 years. You can apply for this examination many times, those who cracked this examination can directly apply for Interview. The questions in the examination will be asked from these areas:
    ~~ Reasoning
    ~~ English language
    ~~ Computer knowledge
    ~~ General awareness
