hii....the indian administrative services is probably the toughest exam in the country so you have to really prepare hard for the exam that to minimum of more than ten hours regularly.as for as the general studies paper is concerned the syllabus is very vast covering many toipics like geography,history,civics,general science ,economics,public administartion,biology and current affairs ,all these subjects are an huge topics within themselves .its better to follow the ncert 10th and 12 th class text books for the prelims exam and post graduation level text books for the mains exam .i am attaching the brochure of the ias exam ,that will really help you to understandc the various finer points of the exam

I know something about current affairs, general knowledge, subject oriented topics... what else should i need to study?
