Well BHEL stands for Bharat Heavy Electonics Limited.

It is a goverment core company,the following are the required

» You must complete B.tech/B.E (Bachelor of Engineering)

»You must have no history of arrear

» You must have scored more than 60 % in your academics

» Goverment Companies recruit the candidates based on the GATE marks.

Coming to your second part of the question,GATE stands for Graduate Apptitute Test for Engineer.

It is a competative apptitude test for engineers.Several companies like BHEL prefer the candidates based on GATE marks.

You can prepare in your own if you are well enough else you can join any GATE coaching classes which are available all over India.

You should first complete B.E/B.Tech degree to apply for a job BHEL. You can log in to the official website of BHEL and check about the various job opportunities that are vacant. You can apply for suitable posts on that basis. You will be selected for job posts in BHEL only if you qualify written examination. Also, you will be eligible to attend written examination only if you get 60% marks graduation. On clearing written exam a GD and P.I will be conducted as a final selection process. You can also apply for job in BHEL based on GATE score which will be specified at the time of notifications. As part of your preparation for this exam, it is better to join coaching institutes. You will get good training in this area. You need to practice mock tests which will help you to perform better in this exam.
