    IAS & IPS both are the Civil service examination

    IAS/IPS Eligibility :

    Candidates must be a Indian
    Candidates must be complete Graduation in any stream from a recognized University
    Candidates age limit between 21 to 30 years
    The upper age relaxation as per govt rules
    3 years age relaxation for OBC Candidates
    5 years age relaxation for SC/ST Candidates

    General Candidates : 4 Times

    UPSC every year conducts civil services examination.
    The examination has two stages :
    Preliminary
    mains
    and Interview.

    Age : 21 years to 30 years.


    Educational qualification:

    you must have bachelor degree in any stream from a recognized university.

    Final year candidates can also appear in Examination.

    Yes, you are eligible for IAS/IPS

    but, you can must satisfy some eligibility which is required for IAS/IPS

    Aspirants, first crack the Civil Examination, which is conducted by Union Public Service Commission in yearly ones.

    Eligibility Criteria for Civil Examination

    >> Candidates must have a bachelor of degree in any stream from any recognized university,

    >> Final year appeared students also eligible for this examination

    >> There is no percentage required for this examination

    >> Candidates age should between 21 years to 30 years, 5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates, 3 years relaxation for OBC candidates

    >> Candidates should be a citizen of India

    If you satisfy above eligibilities then you are eligible for Civil Examination

    Selection Procedure

    ** Preliminary Examination

    ** Mains Examination

    criteria for IAS/IPS : you should be graduate.
    age : 21- 30 years
    final year pursuing student can also applicable.
    as there is not any notification regarding marital status you are eligible for the exam.

    Yes you can appear in IAS/IPS Exam even if you have get married.


    But you will only eligible to appear in this exam if you meet the eligibility criteria.


    These are:-


    >>You must be graduate pass out in any stream.
    >>Your degree must be from Recognized University.
    >>Your degree should be approved from the UGC.
    >>If you have completed your Graduation from the Distance mode then your degree must be approved from the DEC (Distance Education council).




    Age details:-


    >>For appearing in this exam your minimum age should be 21 years.
    >>Your maximum age should not exceed above 28 years.


    There are also limitations in appearing in this exam.


    These are:-


    >>If you come under the General category then you can appear only 4 times in this exam.
    >>If you come under the OBC category then you can appear only 7 times in this exam.


    However if your age exceeds above the age limit then you will able to get age relaxations as per government norms, but only when if you comes under the Reserved category.

    Yes,you are eligible for IAS examination even if you are married. IAS stands for "Indian Administrative Services" which is conducted by the UPSC every year.

    It consists of three phases:

    *Preliminary exam
    *Main exam and
    *Interview

    Eligibility criteria for IAS/IPS exam are:

    *You must be the citizen of india.
    *You must have completed your graduation degree in any stream.
    *Your age should be between 21 to 30 years for General candidates and for OBC age should be between 21 to 33 years and for SC/ST's age should be between 21 to 35 years.
    So GO AHEAD and crack IAS/IPS exam,good luck.....

    Yes, Married candidate are eligible for IAS and IPS both exam.

    Eligibility criteria for IAS /IPSexam:-

    Education qualification:
    Candidate should have minimum graduation degree with any discipline from a recognized university.

    Age eligibility:
    For General category candidate,age should be between 21 to 30 years
    For OBC category candidates age should be between 21 to 33 years
    For SC/ST category candidates,only minimum age is required i.e 21 years.

    Number of attempts:
    4 attempts for General category candidates
    7 attempts for OBC category candidates
    Unlimited attempts for sc/st category candidates

    Yes off course you are eligible for appearing for CSE(Civil services exam) even if you are married provided you are able to satisfy all
    other eligibility criteria.The basic eligibility criteria is that you must be a graduate from a recognized university and secondly you
    should be within 35 years of age.And one very important qualification is that the number of attempts have not expired.
    I means you cannot appear for the exam for more than a certain number of attempts.
    But as far as marriage is concerned, there is no such qualification that restricts married candidates from appearing
    in the exam.

    Hello friend !!

    IAS (Indian Administrative Service) & IPS (Indian Police Service)


    These two are the top services in Indian Civil Services.

    To get into these courses, you need to appear in the Entrance Examination conducted by UGC.

    The common entrance examination for these services is called as CSAT.

    CSAT stands for Civil Services Aptitude Test.

    It is being conducted by Union Public Services Commission (UPSC).

    Important Dates of CSAT 2012 :

    CSAT 2012 will be held on May 20, 2012 (Sunday)

    CSAT 2012 Notification Date: February 4, 2012

    CSAT 2012 Last Date to Apply: March 05, 2012

    The Eligibility for the CSAT 2012 is like :

    Bachelor’s degree of a recognised university with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physcs, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Enginerring or an equivalent qualification

    You must be an Age in between 21-30 years & the Upper age limit relaxable for SCs/STs, OBCs and certain other categories .

    No. of permissible attempts are Four for general category students , Seven attemps of OBCs and no limit for SCs/STs .

    So as per the above mentioned statements, there is no where mentioned that only Unmarried Candidates are allowed for CSAT, hence you are positively eligible for CSAT.
    So you can go for CSAT being a Married aspirant.

    The Syllabus for UPSC CSAT 2012 :

    Paper I (200 marks) and Duration Two hours.

    Current events of national and international importance History of India and Indian National Movement Indian and World Geography - Physical, Social, Economic geography of India and the World.
    Indian Polity and Governance – Constitution, Political System, Panchayati Raj, Public Policy, Rights Issues, etc.
    Economic and Social Development – Sustainable Development, Poverty, Inclusion, Demographics, Social Sector Initiatives, etc.
    General issues on Environmental ecology, Bio-diversity and Climate Change - that do not require subject specialization
    General Science.

    Paper II (200 marks) and Duration Two hours.

    Comprehension
    Interpersonal skills including communication skills
    Logical reasoning and analytical ability
    Decision making and problem solving
    General mental ability
    Basic numeracy (numbers and their relations, orders of magnitude etc.) (Class X level), Data interpretation (charts, graphs, tables, data sufficiency etc. -Class X level)
    English Language Comprehension skills (Class X level).

    no matters dear...
    your age must be in b/w 21-30 years as on 1.7.2012. (Upper age limit relaxable for SCs/STs, OBCs and certain other categories )

    and you shoud have Bachelor’s degree of a recognised university with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physcs, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Enginerring or an equivalent qualification

    Yes,you can either become IAS/IPS officer,by apply for civil service exam.This exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission every year once to take qualified students into different service post in government sector.

    To appear for Civil service exam,you should have completed graduation degree with any stream from a recognized university and your age should be between 21 to 30 year.
    If you are married also eligible,if you fulfill with education qualification and age.
    Civil Service exam consist of Preliminary exam and Main exam.

    Preliminary exam notification release on 11th Feb 2012,closes on 5th March 2012 and exam will held on 20th May 2012.
    After clearing Preliminary exam,you will eligible for Main exam.
    Main exam will held on 15th Oct 2012.

    Yes you are eligible, for applying to the civil service examination conducted by UPSC....
    There is no restriction that married candidates are not allowed....
    there are some eligibility criteria to be followed for applying to IAS...they are
    1-minimum age gap required for applying is 21-30
    2-you should pass your graduation certified by any government recognized university
    3-you should be an Indian
    4-there is no minimum percentage required for applying to the exam...
    So there is no restriction that married candidates should not apply for the exam,any married female or male are eligible.....

    it doesn't matter whether you are married or not..
    all that matters is the age limit..
    the age limit for civil services is 21 to 30 years..for OC candidates...
    it is 21 to 33 years for OBC candidates...
    and it is 21 to 35 years for SC/ST candidates...
    it also prolongs for disabled candidates and for ex-service man...

    Yes you are eligible for I.A.S or I.P.S exam because there is no restriction on the marital status of a person giving I.A.S or I.P.S exam .
    But your age must be within 21 to 30 years [General] ,21 to 33 years [O.B.C] ,21 to 35 years [S.C/S.T] respectively .
