Hi friend,the minimum educational qualification required to apply for CDS-2013 OTA(officers training academy) is graduation in any discipline from recognised institution or university...And the age limit to apply for CDS(combined defense services) OTA exam is 19-25 years and the age relaxations are as per the government regulations...With respect to your date of birth on 13/01/1989,you are eligible to apply for CDS-2013(officers training academy) exam if you have done your graduation...all the best...

CDS stands for COMBINED DEFENSE SERVICE examination.
it is held twice in a year by UPSC.
If you have done your graduation then you are eligible for the CDS exam.

ELIGIBILITY FOR CDS

Educational Qualifications:

For admission to the examination, a candidate must have:

1. I.M.A. and Officers’ Training Academy (OTA): Degree of a recognised University or equivalent.

2. Naval Academy: B.Sc. (with Physics & Mathematics) or Bachelor of Engineering.

3. Air Force Academy : Degree of Recognized University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.

AGE LIMIT:
-Indian Military Academy: 19-24yrs.
-Naval Academy: 19-22yrs.
-Air Force Academy: 19-23yrs.
-Officers Training Academy: 19-25yrs.
