Re: What are the future options of B.E Civil Engineering? What are the courses for a B.Tech(Civil) student to pursue M.B.A?

Civil engineering has emerged as a strong branch in
terms of job scope in the past few years.
There is tremendous scope of growth in the
infrastructure in our country . For implementing these
goals there are lot of civil engineers required.
There are lots of projects coming even in the smallest
of the towns and cities of India. A lot of project and
infrastructure companies have emerged in the past few years.
Now as per your intrest and wish you can further
continue to study and pursue MBA. A MBA degree
will give you a broad prospective of the market and
will help you become a technocommercial professional.
You can go for a MBA degree in sales , marketing or operations
    management.

After Btech civil engineering u could pursue Mtech in structural engineering. In gulf countries like uae saudi etc mtech civil holders are paid more and chance of job oppurtunities is also more. There are many opportunities in Gulf countries they really pay very huge amount to a civil engineer.
But if you are interested in taking MBA then its also good you will lead the team as a manager.
