B.A Geography graduates have employment opportunities in both public and private sectors. Some of the job designations which are suitable for such graduates are cartographers, climatologist, demographers, agriculture specialists etc. Apart from this, candidates can also work as GIS officer, forest managers, urban planner, remote sensing specialists etc. One can also work in development agencies which deals with studies related to environmental and demographic issues etc. Also opportunities exist in satellite technology area. Some of the companies where in candidates can get jobs are CAD Planet Technologies, Centre for Advanced Remote Sensing and Environmental Studies, Bhugol GIS Pvt Ltd etc. Officer positions in different government departments can also be tried by appearing for PSC exams.
