    Yes absolutely , you are eligible to apply for IBPS Clerks examination and you also apply for IBPS PO eligible examination .

    IBPS Stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection Common Written Examination is conducted for recruitment of Clerical / Probationary Officer / Management Trainee in 19 Public Sectors Banks .

    To apply for IBPS Clerks examination , you must have satisfy the minimum eligibility criteria for IBPS Clerks .

    Nationality :-

    You must be a citizen of India,
    OR You must be a subject of Nepal or Bhutan,
    OR You must be a Tibetan refugee settled permanently in India before 1962.

    IBPS Clerks Eligibility Criteria :-

    IBPS Clerk exam is conducted for 19 private banks clerk recruitment.


    If you have completed 10th standard with above 60% marks OR if you have completed 12th standard with above 50% marks then you are applicable for IBPS CLERK Exam.

    Your age should be in between 18 to 28 years old.Age relaxation is provide for reserved category.

    Minimum and Maximum Qualifications:
    Probationary Officers:
    Minimum qualification is Graduation from recognized university with minimum pass marks.
    Minimum age limits for Open Category candidates is 20 yeas and Maximum age limits is 30 years as on 01-08-2011
    Minimum age limits for Backward category and creamy layer category candidates is 20 years and Maximum age limits is 33 years.
    For SC/ST category candidates Minimum age limits is 20years and Maximum age limits is 35 years
    Clerical Cadre Posts:
    Minimum qualification with 10Th class with 60% of marks can eligible for apply for this exam(or)qualification HSC or Intermediate or 10+2Th with 50% of marks or any graduation holder can eligible for apply to exam for General category candidates for other category candidates no need pass percentage only aggregate pass marks required

    YOU ARE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS EXAM . you did not mention that from which category you belongs. Because if you belongs to General category so you are not eligible but if you belongs to SC OR ST OR OBC so you can go for this exam.
    Application details:

    * Application fees for Clerks is Rs.300 (OBC/General) & Rs.50(SC/ST)

    * Application fees for PO is Rs.400 ( OBC/General) & Rs.75(SC/ST)

    IBPS stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection.This exam is conducted to Recruit the students for bank jobs .To apply for this exam you need to complete your graduation from a reconized university.You can also apply if you are in the final year of your Graduation.Your age need to be between 20-30 years.

    This exam is conducted in both objective and descriptive type`s.Objective type is of 150 min duration.Descriptive type is of 60 min duration .The score card of this exam will have 1 year validity.

    Hello Friend

    YES you are eligible for IBPS exam with your 10th Qualification for Clerk cadre, dude and i also recommend that if you are a Degree holder then you are also eligible for IBPS PO's exam.

    IBPS ( Institute of Banking Personnel Selection ) is the board conducting the common written exam for the 19 Public Sector Banks. It is conducted twice in a year for every 6 months to the posts PO's / Management Trainee and Clerk Cadre.

    After IBPS CWE selected you are called up for an Interview by the Bank's based on the marks you got in the CWE so that you are taken in, so you must prepare hard for the IBPS exam as there is a tough competition held.

    Dude in order to apply for the IBPS Clerk CWE you have to meet certain eligibility criteria like

    Education :

    you must have qualified SSC / SSLC / Matriculation or any equivalent with minimum 60% marks from any recognized board.
    or
    you must have qualified 12th standard with minimum 50% marks from any recognized College
    or
    you must be a Degree holder in any stream from any recognized college

    Age Criteria :

    you must have minimum 19 years and maximum 28 years of age, Age relaxation is accepted if you belong to special category like

    - SC / ST - 5 years
    - OBC - 3 years
    - PH - 10 years
    - Widow - 7 years

    In IBPS clerical exam the minimum qualification required is passed 12th class with 60% marks so if you are fulfilling this course then you can apply otherwise you are not eligible. But in the IBPS PO exam the qualification required is graduation with more then 60% marks. So you can apply in the PO posts. More information you can get from the IBPS website www.ibps.in

    IBPS is conducting CWE for 19 Public Sector Banks as each Bank will stipulate its own eligibility/ qualifying criteria.

    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA for Clerk of a Public Sector Bank

    Prospective Candidates should ensure that they fulfill the specified eligibility criteria
    before applying for the Common Written Examination (CWE):

    I. Nationality / Citizenship:

    A candidate must be either -

    (i) a Citizen of India or

    (ii) a subject of Nepal or

    (iii) a subject of Bhutan or

    Dear Aspirant,

    You got less then 60% marks in 10 exam and requirement is above 60% if we see at 10 exam level you are not eligible...

    but as you have completed your graduation so, you are eligible to appear in CLERK & PO's exam ......

    * Graduation required for PO's post & age limit is 21-30 yr
    * For Clerk post 18-28 yr age limit is required....

    Hello dear aspirant,


    Yes,You are eligible to apply for IBPS both clerical cadre and PO positions.You are having all required marks in your education,as per marks you are completely eligible to apply.So you can apply happily.But once go through following eligibility criteria, you must satisfy following eligibility criteria to apply for IBPS common written exam;

    >>For Clerical cadre,You must be having at least 60% of marks in your Intermediate or If you qualify in graduation is enough.Your age should be between 18 yrs to 28 yrs

    >>For PO position,you must be completed your graduation with 50% of marks from any stream from recognized university and 5% relaxation is available if you are related to SC and ST category.Your age should be between 18 to 28 years.

    So you are eligible to apply for both positions, already one session exam has completed, you can apply for another exam,mostly in the month of February you will be having another common written exam.

    i have 58% marks in 10th. i did 3yrs diploma in electronics and communication engg. with 62% marks. i have also completed my BSc-IT with 67%marks.
    Am i eligible for ibps clerical exam?
