*Generally M.TECH is a masters course after completion of the b.TECH this stream is choosen by the Engineering students to do their Higher education this is 2 year post graduation course in which you can opt for the best specialization you are interested

*So mostly MCA students doesnt choose M.TECH as their higher studies

Entrance examination:-

*If you want to join in the M.TECH you have to write the entrance examination and you have to qualify in the entrance exam with good score so that you will get the admission in the better college some of the entrance like:

--GATE

--PGCET

*GATE :- Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering

*This exam is kept every year all over India for the post graduation course there is good opportunities in the government sectors

Eligibility for M.TECH:-

--you must complete your graduation course

--You must not have any backlogs

--final year students are also eligible.

--no age limit to apply for the entrance examination

Procedure to get admission to M.Tech for M.C.A students.

Hello Friend

You can pursue M.Tech, through applying for entrance exams conducted by different Universities / state boards in India. There is also all India examination conducted every year for the young aspirants who completed their Under Graduate courses from different colleges in India.

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all India examination, where many aspirants take test every year. Qualifying in GATE gives you opportunity not only to grab your seat in M.Tech colleges in India bur also gives you chance to apply for various fellowship programs offered by different government organizations.

So friend if you are really interested to pursue M.Tech then, GATE exam is the best option, if you qualify you will also get stipend from the government for 2 years of course.

Other than GATE there are also entrance exams conducted by different popular Universities in India of their own so you can attempt them for M.Tech course.

Coming to eligibility, as you said completed your Master in Computer Application (MCA) course, you are eligible for applying the GATE exam. Master Degree holder in any branch of Science / Statistics / Computer Application / Mathematics or equivalent and final year of the course also eligible.

Generally GATE exam every year conducted by 7 IIT's and IISc - Bangalore, so the examination paper will be tough and you have to prepare your best to crack the examination.

There is no age limit to apply for the entrance examination, if you are eligible with your educational qualification then you can go forward.

first of all U must have to clear GATE (graduate aptitude test for engg) , if wanna take a good college.
it is conducted every year on second sunday of february.
then your gate score is released in mid of march, and u can take admission on this score basis

Eligibility criteria to appear for GATE Exam.

You should be of bachelors degree holders in Engineering/Technology/Architectrue which must be a 4 years course after completion of 10+2.

You who are pursuing final year of bachelors degree in Engineering/Technology/Architecture are also eligible to appear for this exam.

You have Masters degree with any of the stream are eligible to appear for this exam.
