    you have done diploma in civil and you want to do engineering in civil.
    yes sure you can do B.E in civil after diploma.
    this is facility to diploma holders that they can take direct admission in engineering.
    you will get admission in 2nd year of engineering.
    you can not give any engineering exam because that is useless for you.
    if you want to do job then you can get job after diploma.
    after diploma you can good job but after engineering you can get better job.

    You have successfully completed your diploma right.........

    So you need to continue your studies in the same Stream...........

    To add value to education...........and to get good concepts .........subject over civil stream........You better go for doing regular degree..........




    Since CIVIL is an ancient branch.........Ypu have so many career options for you........

    After completion of your degree you can earn money ...........
