Dear it is impossible to get admission on the basis of marks in test but you can apply for the same on the basis of 10th marks, but you can only opt for private colleges only, some of them are DAV Polytech, LPU, Thapar Polytch, etc

8 marks out of 300 is impossible for you to get into polytechnic that too in a government college. 45 marks is the qualifying mark in polytechnic so, buddy just wait for another year and this time do your best and score well all the best....

the minimum eligibility to qualify in any exam is to get atleast 40% of the total marks. incase if there any reservations to the candidate he or she should get atleast 35% of the total
marks. since you have no chance in this, you are not qualified in this exam... and at any cost you can't get a seat in government college... instead of this you can join in intermediate
course
