    Educational Qualification for CBI exam:

    The minimum qualification is that you should have completed any degree with pass percentage.

    Age Limit:

    Must be between 21 to 33
    2 years relaxation for OBC category
    4 years relaxation for SC/ST category

    No.of Attempts:


    4 years for General
    7 years for OBC
    No limit for SC/ST category.

    Exam pattern for CBI Exam:-

    a. Part I - Written Examination carrying: 400 marks

    Hello friends.......................................,

    You have completed graduation degree with above 50% marks so you are applicable fore C.B.I exam which is conducted by S.S.C .

    To join C.B.I you need to appear for C.G.P.E exam i.e. Combined Graduate preliminary Exam which is conducted by S.S.C board every year.

    Those candidate are graduate from any recognized university with any discipline are eligible for C.B.I exam.(Criminology)

    But your age should be in between 20 to 27 years old.Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/O.B.C category as per govt rule.

    The maximum attempts for SC/ST candidate is Unlimited. For O.B.C candidate it is 7 years and for general candidate it will be 5 years.

    Also you must be in citizen in India.

    Eligibility for CBI post:-

    1. Graduation with a minimum of 55% marks are eligible to appear for this exam.
    2. They must be at least 20 years at the time of applying. SC/ST/OBC candidates must be at least 30 years when they apply.
    3. The candidates who qualify in the written test will be later called for a Physical Test and Interview.

    Examination Pattern:-

    a. Part I - Written Examination carrying: 400 marks

    1. should be citizen of India.

    2. age - 20 - 27 years(general)

    3. age - 20 -30 years (OBC)

    Hello,


    For CBI you have appear in CGPE entrance exam conducted by SSC or Staff Selection board.).

    For CGPE or Combined Graduate Preliminary exam ,you must have graduate with 55% marks from Recognized University.


    Candidates should be Citizen of India.

    Candidates age should be 20 to 27 years .
    Age relaxation given for OBC is 3 years and SC ST 5 years.

    Candidates height must be 165cm and eye sight should be correct .

    Chest must be 76 cm.

    So , you get less percentage can not apply for CBI.

    If you want join in the CBI department, then you need to follow information regarding required requirements and other are given bellow:

    First of all you need to know about the CBI stands for Central Bureau of Investigation and this is an agency which detects crime and helps to solve problems and cases.

    These departments id controlled under the Prime Minister of India and so if you want join in this field, then you need join in any one of the following posts;.

    - Commissioner of Police,
    - Director General of Police.

    For proclaiming yourself as a member of CBI department, you need to write the union public service commission examinations and so attending for the UPSC extermination required requirements are:

    Required Eligibility :

    *Required educational qualifications are you must completed the graduation with minimum of 55% marks from recognized university.

    *You must be an Indian citizen.

    *Required age limit should be atleast 20 years and maximum 27 years and here 5 years of age relaxation for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates as per govt rules.

    *Height should be 165 cms
    *Chest should be 76 cms. with expansion


    Selection Procedure :

    *For recruiting in the CBI departments, the selection procedure is based on the written test and Physical Test and Interview.

    *Apart from first conducted the written test and this test containing the objective type questions from your graduate level with will include, essay writing, comprehension, précis writing and vocabulary Indian history etc.

    *After qualifying the written test you will be called for physical test and interview.

    So you can make it out from the above eligibility criteria about your eligibility to appear this exam. But do not frustrated you can afford other civil services exam and their notification will be announced in "Employments News" or official website of the Civil Service Department of India.

    Dear Friend , The Eligibility criteria to become a CBI Officer are :

    * You must be a citizen of India.
    * Your age must be between 21-27 years.
    * you must have passed graduation with atleast 60% marks.

    As per the above given eligibility criteria , you are not eligible to appear in CBI exam after completing your graduation with 50% marks.

    To become a CBI officer you need to write SSC Combined Graduate Examination.

    Educational Qualification:


    >>The minimum educational qualification required for applying to the SSC Combined Graduate Preliminary Examination is a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent of any recognized Indian University.

    Required Age Limit:

    >>For Assistant Grade & Sub Inspectors in CBI, you must be aged between 20 and 27 years.

    >>For Inspectors of CE / IT & Divisional Accountants/Auditors/ UDCs etc you must be aged between 18 and 27 years.

    >>For Sub Inspectors in Central Police Forces, you must be aged between 20 and 25 years.

    >>Upper age limit is relaxable for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes etc as per the norms stipulated by the Government of India.

    Examination Pattern:

    Central Bureau of Investigation:

    The Eligibility details to become a CBI officer is as follows:

    Yes since you are a graduate you are eligible to apply. You will have to appear for the civil service exam conducted by UPSC. You can appear for the exam scheduled in 2013 if you are not over 30 years old. So your preparation should begin with preparation for the prelims. You should solve sufficient number of problems in areas like QA, verbal ability, comprehension, reasoning etc. Read newspapers, journals and make a note of the important events. You must read through these notes regularly. Once you are comfortable with these areas start preparing for the mains. Select two subjects from the list provided in the UPSC site.

    Yes, dear you are eligible to write that exam. It's eligibility criteria is that you should be graduate from any stream.

    age:-
    maximum age limit for GENERAL candidate is 27 years to appear for that exam.
    maximum age limit for SC/ST candidate is 33 years
    maximum age limit for OBC candidate is 30 years.

    Hi,
    Yes you are eligible for CBI exams based on your graduation completion certificate.
    Eligibility criteria for CBI exam is:-
    1)Should complete graduation under any recognized University.(I think they won't consider percentage).
    2)Age Limit between 21-25 years.
    The only thing you have to consider is you have to get through written exam and personal interview conducted by them.You have to prepare very hard because the competition level is at higher level and you are some what academically dull.Don't loose confidence and try hard for it surely you will succeed .

    Eligibility for Central Bureau of Investigation Exam 2012: -

    Degree of a regonised University or equivalent.

    20 - 25 years.

    3. CBI Exam 2012 Application Forms: -

    The application form can be transferred from the official website of SSC and designated Post Offices.
