i am completed ug course b.a english (ca) in periyaar university but somebody says that its not eligible course in tamil nadu govt teacher job because university not get approved for ugc pls clear my doubt its eligible or not?

You can apply for B.Ed after B.A course. Graduation is the main qualification to apply for this course. Also you need to get 50% marks in graduation from a recognized institute. B.Ed common entrance examination will be conducted to get admission for the same. You will be tested in areas like Reasoning, GK, language skills, Teaching Aptitude etc. But to become a teacher in a government school you need to attend Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by Tamil Nadu government. You need to obtain at least 50% marks in B.Ed exam to appear for TET. If you clear TET you can apply for teaching jobs in government schools in Tamil Nadu.
