    You can not eligible for NET exam after Engineering course.

    NET stand for - National Eligibility Test.

    This exam conduct by UGC.



    NET Exam eligibility like ::
    ********************
    -->> The candidates must be complete Master Degree in any recognized university.

    -->> Your master degree with minimum 55 % of marks.

    -->> Your age limit between 28 years minimum.

    hi dear,
    I am sorry to say if you are a B.tech pass student then you can not go for NET/SET exam.
    NET/SET exam require:
    Candidate must have done masters degree means post graduation in nay field.
    Candidate must have done his post graduation from any recognized university.
    Candidate must score minimum 55% in post graduation.
    After pass out NET/SET exam candidate will become a lecturer in government college.

    friends

    Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree
    OR
    equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognized by UGC in Humanities (including languages)
    and Social Sciences, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Science etc. are eligible for this Test.

    You should not be more than 28 years as on 01.12.2011.
    5 years of relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH/VH categories candidates and to women applicants.

    you can't do it .
    you are a engineering student .
    so you only have a bachelor degree.

    NET stands for national eligibility test.


    here are the some conditions to applying for NET .
    1. you must be a graduate .
    2. you must get good marks in graduation .
    3. you should have a master degree also .
    4. you must get at-least 55% marks in master degree.

    after following these conditions you can apply for NET exam and become a lecturer.

    No, you must have a PG like M.Tech or MBA after your engineering to write NET exams.

    >>You must have completed Mater degree(PG) in any steam from recognized university
    >>You must pass your PG with minimum of 55% marks
    >>50% for ST/SC/PH/Females
    >>Final year students are also eligible

    There is no upper age limit for "Lectureship post"

    You must be within 28years for "Junior Research Fellowship"(5years age relaxation for SC/ST,BC and PH Candidates)

    Exam pattern:


    Structure and Pattern of NET Exam::

    # It consists of 3Papers
    * Paper I
    * Paper II
    * Paper III
    # Both Paper I and Paper II are OBJECTIVE TYPE. Paper III is DESCRIPTIVE

    TYPE.
    # Paper I contains
    - General Knowledge
    - Current Affairs
    - Reasoning Ability and Quantitative Methods For (50 questions) – 100 Marks
    # Paper II contains
    - Your Core subject for (50 questions) - 100 Marks.
    # Paper III contains
    - Your core subject in PG and will have 4Sections.
    Section 1- 5x5= 25 marks (30 words)
    Section 2 –15x5=75 marks (30 words)
    Section 3- 5x12= 60 marks (200 words) and
    Section 4- 1x40= 40 marks(1000 words)
    Total for 400Marks.

    Application Procedure for NET:

    You have to apply online before the specific date announced by UGC.

    Two print-outs of filled in online application form,exam attendance slip and admission

    card at the respective centers (with fee receipt and category certificates) are the

    documents required for applying to this exam.

    This will be of 450rs/- for General and 110 rs/- for SC/ST.

    You have to pay this through SBI Challan form Via Online.

    ----the eligibility criteria for giving NET and SLET exams are as follows:

    -----you must have done your post graduation in any stream from a recognised university.

    -----minimum qualification: 55% marks in post graduation.

    so, an engineering student cannot give the NET and SLET exam and he /she can only give this exam if he/she has done M.tech.

    i am sorry that you are not able to do this exam.
    No, you cannot attend the NET/SET exam if you are an engineering graduate. To appear for the NET/SET exam you need to complete post graduation. The Post graduation can be in any discipline. You should score at least 55% marks in the post graduation level. You should also score the post graduation from a recognized university or college. If you qualify in the NET/SET exam, you will become eligible for the lectureship jobs in government colleges or universities. Since you are only completed your engineering graduation you are not at all eligible for attending the NET /SET exam.

    Both NET and SET exams are conducted for selecting the qualified aspirants and providing them the eligibility to work as lecturers.

    UGC conducts the NET exam and it is a nation-wide test while the SET is limited to a State.

    NET stands for National Eligibility Test which is conduct twice time in year.

    Eligibility for NET:


    -You have to pass your Master Degree with 55% of marks in any recognized university. And For SC/ST/PH/VH candidates minimum percentage is 50%.
    -Your age is should not more than 28 years.

    Eligibility for SET:


    - You have to pass your Master Degree with 55% of marks in any recognized university And For SC/ST/PH/VH candidates minimum percentage is 50%.
    - Your age is should not more than 28 years.

    As you have completed master degree in Arts , you are eligible to write NET and SET exam. But you should also follow percentage and age criteria.

    FRIEND,

    No friend you are not eligible to appear in the NET or SLET exam because for this exam you must have done Post graduation and must have secured at least 55% marks in post graduation.

    Friend if you are in the final year of Post Graduation then also you are eligible to appear in the exams of NET or SLET.

    THE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA IS:

    1)You must have completed Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination from university recognized by UGC.

    2)If you are in the final year of the Master's Degree then also you are eligible for the exam.

    3)IF you have done P.HD then also you are eligible.

    4)You must have secured the minimum of 55% marks in Master's degree and A 5% relaxation in marks in given to the Reserved category candidates.

    5)AGE CRITERIA:

    5.1 For Junior Research Fellowship: You should not be more than 28 years as on 01.12.2011. 5 years of relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH/VH categories candidates and to women applicants.

    5.2 Lectureship: There is no upper age limit for applying for lectureship eligibility.

    EXAMINATION FEE
    • General Candidates: Rs.450/-
    • Other Backward Classes : Rs.225/-
    • SC/ST/PH/VH candidates: Rs.110/-

    Appearing for the NET/SET exam you need to complete post graduation. The Post graduation can be in any discipline. You should score at least 55% marks in the post graduation level. You should also score the post graduation from a recognized university or college. If you qualify in the NET/SET exam, you will become eligible for the lectureship jobs in government colleges or universities.As you have not Masters that means you have not completed your post graduation so you are not eligible now for NET exam, however you will be eligible after the completion of your graduation. So if you wish to appear in the NET exam so you must have to complete your post graduation first..

    Dear freind as you are engineering graduate student so you are not eligible for NET exam because to appear in NET exam you must have done postgraduate course.National eligiblity test is the entrance exam for those candidates who desire to make career in lecturer of college/university.Such exam is conducted every year twice a times by University Grant Commission(UGC).As you are graduate in engineering so you are required to apply for masters degree in any discipline.Complete your postgraduation then apply for NET exam.After applying the NET exam you have to give an entrance exam and then if you qualified this exam then you will be eligible to apply in college/university for lecturership. ELIGIBLITY-You must be postgraduate in any discipline from a recognized university with minimum 55 percent marks in postgraduation.

    i have completed my B.E (BIOMEDICAL INSTRUMENTATION ENGINEERING)and currently doing my M.E(MEDICAL ELECTRONICS).i am eager to work in government eng colleges .is NET/SLET exams enough for that or is there any specific exams for engineering colleges.and can i know which discipline of syllabus is suitable for my course to attend the exams.

    No, You are Not eligible to apply for NET/SLET Examination after completing your Bachelor degree course. To apply for both these examinations, you have to complete your Post graduate degree course form a recognised University and you have to scored minimum 55% marks in your Post graduation. Final year appearing candidates are also eligible to apply for this examination.

    If you have scored less than 55% Marks in your Post graduation then you are not eligible to apply for this examination.

    NET : National Eligiblity Test

    And this examination is Conducted by UGC, twice in a year and the examination is Conducted in June and December every year. For this year June NET Examination was already completed and December NET Examination will be held on 24/Dec/2011.

    The examination is Conducted in same day and there are 3 papers in this examination. First two papers is Objective and Last paper is descriptive, You have to choose the subjects in NET on the Basis of your Post graduation. The syllabus and Pattern of NET Examination is Availiable in the official website.

    The examination fees of NET is Rs 450 and you have to pay the fees through challan form in SBI Bank.

    The challan form is availiable in the official website, after declaring the Notification.

    But You are Not eligible to apply for NET/SLET Examination Now, So please complete your Post graduation degree course and then you are eligible to fill Online Application form.

    No you are not eligible for National Eligibility Test(NET) exams.
    Because Bachelor degree students are not eligible for NET exams.

    Eligibility Criteria for NET exams:-

    **A candidate must completing his Master degree graduation in any stream from any recognized university.
    **There is a 55% criteria is required in Master degree graduation.
    **For Sc/st Category Candidates 50% criteria is only required.
    **The minimum age limit to apply NET exams is 28years.
    **There is NO upper age limit.
    **This exam is conducted by University Grants Commission(UGC) in every year.
    **It conducts exams for the post of Lectures and PHD.
