Before changing your field you must keep one thing in mind that your total experience of 9 years will go in vain.Better you continue in the sdame field.Yes there is an opportunioty for you to change your field but it will be very difficult to survive after changing the field.

Since you have 9 years of experience, you can opt for doing Executive MBA. It is especially for those who have a minimum of 5 years of work experience. You can advance your career as a managerial role by doing this kind of MBA. Many of the reputed and premier institutes offer this course. They will consider work experience and entrance exams would not be conducted for these type of MBA. The teaching method is mainly oriented towards more practical.

You can attend the GD and interview after clearing the exam. With so many years of experience, go for executive program with IIM or part time from Symbiosis. You can take operations as your specialization. After the course, you will get chances in highly reputed firms. Most of the institutes provide 100% placement also

Since you have 9 years of experience, you can opt for doing Executive MBA. It is especially for those who have a minimum of 5 years of work experience. To switch to the administrative/managerial type of work, the aspirants can write the entrance exam for getting into a good institute. Many entrance tests are there like MAT, XAT, and CAT. You can attend the GD and interview after clearing the exam. With so many years of experience, go for executive program with IIM or part time from Symbiosis. The teaching method is mainly oriented towards more practical.
for more information you can direct visit on the official website of the Institute..

    Dear Mohammad ,

As you have mentioned that you are having 9 years of work experience, and you want a managerial job in future, I would suggest you to go for an executive MBA course or part time MBA from renowned institutes. If we talk about the institute which is good for MBA, then it would depend on which specialization you want to have in your MBA, as all prestigious institutes who are providing executive MBA, they are categorized on the basis of the specialization which they give. For example if you want to pursue your MBA in Human Resource Management then XLRI is the best option in India, So decision of institute is depend on the specialization you want to go for. Now a days there are some foreign universities who have their franchisees in India from where you can complete your International executive MBA in 9 months or a one year time such as United Business institute, Belgium etc.

    All the best.

What are the options after getting 9 Years of work experience as Operations/productions in Petroleum Plants? What is the scope for me in administrative/managerial type of work? How can I change my track from production to managerial?

I am B.Tech in Petrochemical Engineering with 09 years experience in operations/production in petrochemical plants. Now i feel to get out of this production/operation environment. I feel it shall be interesting and more rewarding to opt for administrative/mangerial type of work. Please suggest how to change the profession, will a fulltime/part time post graduation course benefit? if yes then please suggest the best place to do that.
