    HEYA,

Well i am sure you have good plans in future of MBA
The need for true leaders in this market is increasing with time and hence there are many students who are contending for it
But you have many specializations to choose from and it all depends on your interest
    some specializations are

    >MARKETING
    >HR
    >FINANCE
    >PR
    >INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS

But as you are from CSE background i would say that you go in for either operations management or HR

Re: Which specialisation is best for a Computer Engineers in MBA?

    hello

in the current scenario HR is the best option to take as the specialization

    here are the reasons

    1) many IT companies are searching for HR professionals for the campus recruitment process.
    2) since you are a computer science engineer you will get the managerial position in top MNC software and computer product based company.
    3) where ever you go , which ever may be the company , you will have a opening ,because all the companied will have the HR department.
    4) the HR professionals will get very high pay.
    5) the concepts involved in HR specialization are very easy to understand and relate to real life.

Now in India there is a new specialization offered to the Engineering graduates, called Engineering Management, you can select that paper in MBA. With your back ground there some options like Management Information System, Project Management, Information Technology, Technology Management, System and Telecommunication etc. Your engineering backups these subjects, as specialization and you will find effortless in Management application side. The MBA graduates with these specializations today is highly demanding in various sectors like IT. But there are some general specializations one can opt like Marketing, Sales, Human Recourse, Global Management, General Management, International Business etc. You can choose any of these specializations despite from any back ground. But it’s all depends upon your interest in these subjects, for example if you are good in communication and convincing others a successful career waiting for you in Marketing or Sales. But all these selection are depending on the institution or university you are pursuing the degree. You can select carefully according to your interest and the papers offering.

Re: Which specialisation is best for a Computer Engineers in MBA?

You have two ways to decide which course to pursue. Since you are a Computer Engineer the obvious choice would be systems. But it is not a must to do the same. You can choose amongst hr, finance and marketing too. You should be having some career aspirations. You need to check out which of these will help in the same. In the first year you would have a liking to a particular stream. It will seem more interesting than the others. It would be best to choose that subject them. At the end of it you must have a job which you feel motivated to do so.
