    Paper pattern for PGCET 2012:
    PGCET consists of 200 objective type questions with duration of 3 hours. One mark will be given to the each correct answer.

    Eligibility Criteria for PGCET 2012 MDS Courses:
    you should possess BDS degree from any college recognized by Dental Council of India.

    How to apply for PGCET 2012?
    you need to fill the form online by visiting the website www.rguhs.ac.in. After that it should be submitted to the Registrar, RGUHS, 4th ‘T’ Block, Jayanagar, Bangalore – 560 041. It should be accompanied with a DD as registration fee and two extra photos. Forms can be directly submitted by the applicants or they can submit it through post. DD of registration fee should be taken in the name of ‘Registrar, RGUHS, Bangalore’. Registration fee specified for SC, ST and Category – I will be Rs.400/- and for others it will be Rs. 1500/-.

    PGCET ---- Post Graduation Common Entrance Test.





    PGCET is conducted for the admission into MBA course.

    Date of PGCET Entrance Exam 2012 is 12 February 2012.
    Location of PGCET Entrance Exam would be Bangalore only.

    Important Dates of PGCET 2012 :-

    PGCET Entrance test for all courses: 12 February 2012
    Staring date of availability of application forms: 4th Week of November, 2011
    Last date of receiving application forms by post: 3rd Week of November, 2011
    Last date of receiving application forms in person: Last Week of November, 2011

    THERE IS NO SUCH SYLLABUS FOR PGCET EXAM.
    IT IS PURELY BASED ON YOUR GRADUATION SYLLABUS ITSELF.
    PREPARE FROM YOUR SEMESTERS SYLLABI ONLY THATS ENOUGH.

    SUBJECTS IN PG-SET EXAM ARE:

    1. Mathematics

    Algebra: Fundamental operations in Algebra, Expansion, Factorization, Simultaneous

    Linear/Quadratic equations, Indices, Logarithms, Arithmetic, Geometric and Harmonic

    progressions, Binomial theorem, Permutations and Combinations, Surds, Determinants,

    Matrices and application to solution of simultaneous linear equations

    Co-Ordinate Geometry: Rectangular Cartesian co-ordinates, Equations of Line, Mid-point, Intersections etc.,

    Equations of a Circle, Distance formulae, Pair of straight lines, Parabola, Ellipse and Hyperbola, Simple Geometric

    transformations such as Translation, Rotation, Scaling.

    Vector: Position vector, Addition and Subtraction of Vectors, Scalar and Vector products.

    Trigonometry: Simple identities, Trigonometric equations, Properties of triangles, Inverse function.

    Probability and Statistics: Basic concept of Probability theory, Averages, Dependent and Independent events,

    3. Analytical Ability and Logical Reasoning:

    The question in this section will cover Logical reasoning, Quantitative reasoning and Visuospatial reasoning.

    4. General Awareness

    This section shall carry questions to test the general awareness about Business, Finance,

    Industry, Transportation, Scientific inventions, Governance, Healthcare and Cultural

    dimensions etc.

    5. General English:

    Questions on Grammar and Vocabulary.
