    Why not , you can appear in CPT.

    CPT( Common Proficiency Test) is conducted for To enter iN CA (Chartered Accountant ) .

    Those candidates who wants to do CA course can eligible for CPT after 12th.

    CPT is necessary for all candidates in any stream.

    Graduate candidates who are graduate in Commerce stream with 55% and graduate in any stream with 60% are not neet to give CPT . They directly enter intimately IPCC:

    IPCC is second level of CA course.

    After qualifying IPCC Final course is necessary to give for all candidates.

    COMMON PROFICIENCY TEST (CPT)
    CPT is an entry level test for Chartered Accountancy Course. It is a test of four subjects i.e., Accounting, Mercantile Laws, General Economics and Quantitative Aptitude. This test is of 200 marks. This test is divided into two sessions of two hours each with a break in between. CPT is an objective type test with negative marking.

    Eligibility requirement for registration


    A student who has passed the Class 10th examination conducted by an examining body constituted by law in India or an examination recognized by the Central Government as equivalent thereto may register for Common Proficiency Course.

    Yes you are eligible for CA CPT examination.

    The ICAI board every year two times conducts the examination of CPT in the month of June and December.

    Yhe registration to cPT is opened through out the year.
    CPT stands for Common Proficiency Test .

    It is an entrance examination conducted by ICAI to CPT course.

    CPT paper is objective type and consist of 200 marks .
    It consist of following :
    Fundamental of Accounting
    Mercantile Law
    Economics and quantitative apititude.

    Educational qualification :
    Class 12th passed from a recognized board in any stream from a recognized board.

    Hi dude,

    The eligibility criteria for CA-CPT is :-


    Educational Qualification

    12th or equivalent passed with recognized board.

    For the upcoming CPT to be held in Decmber, one should be registered for CPT course before 1st April, 2011.

    If you have not registered for the course till now, you can't apply for the exam.

    You should register on the time for the next exam.

    Well if you want to become a chartered accountant then you have to take CPT exam which is conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India .

    The examination is conducted 4 times in year .The examination is generally done in the month of the February, May, August and November .

    To take this exam you first have to registered to the ICAI.The CA course is divided in three level ::

    Common Proficiency Test - CPT
    Integrated Professional Competence Course - IPCC
    IPCC Final

    [Eligibility ]:

    You should have passed class 12th.
    There is no age limit for the examination .

    It means that you are eligible to appear for the CPT exam .

    Pattern of the examination ::

    The CPT examination is of total 200 marks and examination consist of total 4 sections ::

    Section A: Fundamentals of Accounting (60 Marks)
    Section B: Mercantile Law (40 Marks)
    Section C: General Economics (50 Marks)
    Section D: Quantitative Aptitude (50 Marks)

    The test is of 200 marks. This test is divided into two sessions of two hours each.

    Procedure to apply for the examination ::You can fill the form online as well as offline .The cost of filling the form online is less .

    The cost of filling form online is Rs 500 only and that of offline is Rs 1000.

    Offline form ::
    You can obtain the form from the Additional Secretary , The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, ICAI Bhawan, Indraprastha Marg, New Delhi 110 002 on payment of Rs. 1000/- .

    This Common Proficiency Test (CPT) examination is open only to those students who are already registered with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India

    Yes , your definitely eligible for CPT examination after completing 12th examination ,

    If your interested to apply for CA course then you can apply for CPT examination .

    This Exam conduct for those person who want to get admission in Charted Accountant course in India.
    This exam held two times in the month of June and December every year.
    Candidates who want to sit in this exam must complete their 10+2 with recognised Institution.

    Hi,

    Chartered Accountant Common Proficiency Test, which is CA CPT Exam and it is conducted by Institute of Chartered Accountants of India for the admission of students to Chartered Accountancy course. The test is an entry exam and it is conducted four times a year, in various cities of India.

    Eligibility:

    1)The students must have passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent, from any recognized Board.
    Candidates, who have passed B.Com, M.Com, LLB, ICWA, CS or MBA at the first attempt, are also eligible to apply.

    2)The candidates, who have appeared or appearing in final year of the qualifying examination, are also eligible to apply.

    3)The students, who have registered for CPT Course with Board of Studies of ICAI on or before October 1, 2011, are also eligible to appear in the entrance test.

    Examination Pattern:

    The test is conducted in two modes:

    1)Paper Pencil Mode of Examination
    2)Online Mode of Examination.

    Paper Pencil Mode of Examination is conducted in morning session and evening session with each carrying two parts.

    For Online Mode of Examination, the students have to fill an examination form Online and then, this examination is held at various centers across India.

    The entrance test consists of objective type questions.The medium of all the questions and instructions is English .The question paper follows negative marking scheme, which means one fourth mark is deducted for every wrong answer.

    As you have completed 12 you are eligible for CPT.

    Dear friend, CPT exam is conducted by ICAI and to appear for CPT one have to enroll with ICAI for CPT exam after 12th class.

    After 10+2 from a recognized board you have to appear for CPT exam. There is no minimum percentage criteria for CPT in 10th or 12th

    Eligibility for Common proficiency test

    Candidate must have passed 10 +2 examination from recognized school or board.
    Candidates appeared for final year exam and result is awaited are also eligible for appearing in CPT.
    Candidates having following course certificates are also eligible....
    CS
    M.Com
    MBA
    B.Com
    ICWA
    LLB

    yes friend,you are eligible for cpt of c.a.after completing your 12th.
    The eligibility is as follows:
    1. Citizens of India
    2. Candidates applying for CPT must have cleared their 10th.
    3. But before joining the course and taking the exam,you must have finished 12th.
    4. There is no age limit for applying to the course.
    Thus there are 3 levels in the chartered accountancy course.
    Entry level test :CPT
    First stage of Theoretical education:PCC
    Final stage of theoretical education:Final Course

    Yes you can definitely join for the CPT exam. CPT is common proficiency exam conducted by the ICAI. This exam is conducted for the entry level exam in to the CA course. The minimum eligibility criterion for attending this exam is the 10th class. But they can appear the exam when they complete 12th standard. The candidate needs to register with the ICAI for attending this exam. Hence you can definitely attend the exam after 12th class. If you qualify in the written test you can get entry for the IPCC level of CA course.

    CA ( Chartered Accountancy ) which is one of the top group where many young aspirants show their interest to have a bright future. In the present scenario as there is a rapid growth in the economy , careers in finance and accountants have gained tremendous popularity and many young aspirants thought that CA is the right field to show their Dynamic and Challenging skills which regulates the quality and quantity of the candidates in the field.

    Age Criteria :

    There is no particular age criteria required for appearing CA CPT.

    After you have qualified in CA CPT you can apply for articled clerks for training and for the final entry into the final course of the CA.

    CPT is the common proficiency test for charted acoountants for admitting the charted accountant course.
    this test is entry level exam.this exam is held four times per year.
    if you just completing 12 th and result is in pending ,then you are not eligible.
    if your result is exist and you are passed of (10+2),then you are eligible.
    if you are not eligible then in short time result will come and you can give this exam after four month.

    Yes you are eligible to attend the C.P.T entrance exam..
    You must have qualified your 12th to attend this exam..
    This exam is conducted twice in a year..
    You need to register and then apply for the exam..
    You have subjects like..aptitude, economics, mercantile law, accounts..
    Prepare well and do well in the exam..

    and pay the fee there...and you will be ready to appear for the exam..the exam will be conducted twice in a year...like in the month of november and june like these ......

    Why not my dear friend , you will be definitely eligible to appear in the
    Common Proficiency test after your 12 th board.
    The Common Proficiency test is the entrance examination for a course
    in Charted accountancy. The eligibility to appear in this examination is
    a 12 th pass only and so you can definitely appear in it.
    In fact this examination is conducted two times in a year by ICAI in the
    months of June and December. So you can register yourself for the June
    examination from right now onwards. So you will be able to appear in this
    exam right after givine your board exams.
    Patter of CPT:-
    This CPT test is a objective paper of 200 marks and will test your skills
    in four areas which are Fundamental accounting, Mercatile law, Economics
    and Quantitative aptitude.

    yes you are eligible for cpt exam. A candidate shall be eligible to appear in Common Proficiency Test CPT December 2011 to be held on 18th December, 2011, if he has :

    (i) Either passed the Senior Secondary Examination ( 10+2 examination ) or its equivalent or must have appeared in the Senior Secondary Examination ( 10+2 examination ) or its equivalent of a recognized Institution, and

    (ii) Registered for CPT Course with Board of Studies of ICAI on or before 1st April 2011.

    (b) A candidate who is already registered for Professional Education I Course with Board of Studies of ICAI and switched over to CPT course on or before 1st April 2011 will also be eligible to appear in December CPT 2011.
