    hello. There is not a single university, who will tell you that "ok,you are our permanent faculty". It depends on university needs, and your performance. But still with such degrees, you can definitely join any universities. some universities in which you can try are:
    Amity- Noida,
    Jadavpur- Kolkata,
    Bengal institute of technology-Howrah,
    Punjab technical university-punjab,
    Lovely Professional University- Jalandhar.

    is it possible to get permanent faculty position in india , under present UGC +MHRD regulations- for a M.Sc,Physics(Cal)-52%,1996, qualified JEST , done Phd (HRI,Ald)-2002-2003, completed 2 post docs IIsc(bangalore) , IIMSc(chennai) , worked as visitor in SINP, IACS--KOL etc age around 38 yrs. NET was not cleared for marks ( less than 55%) in M.Sc. please guide with latest UGC rules
