    Hi there!
    >>You can take admission into ITI course with the following criteria!
    -You should be a matriculation passed out.
    -Your age should be less than 22 years.
    So there is no need to be an intermediate to study ITI.
    >>Check out for the NCVTE approval of the institute before admission for ITI course.

    Hey friend,

    You don't worry for not doing your Intermediate.After completing your I.T.I. course in Electrical branch,you can directly join the second year of Diploma course on the basis of Lateral Entry.Under the Lateral entry scheme,you will directly get admission in the second year of Diploma course,so the course duration of the course for you will be 2 years instead of 3 years.

    After completing your I.T.I. course in Electrical branch,you can join any branch of Diploma,but the most suitable branches for your field are:

    • Electronics and Electrical Engineering.
    • Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering.
    • Electronics and Communication Engineering.
    • Mechanical Engineering.


    For getting admission under Later Entry scheme in Diploma course on the basis of your I.T.I. course,you must have to fulfill the eligibility conditions for the same

    Eligibility conditions for Diploma course on the basis of I.T.I. course:

    • You must had completed your I.T.I. course from a recognized Industrial Training Institute.
    • You must have completed your I.T.I. course with minimum 40% marks.
    • Your age must be less than 23 years at the time of admission.


    On the basis of your % in I.T.I.,a cut-off list will be created,if you got your name in the cut-off list,then you will be eligible to take admission in that College,else you can try some other College.

    Fee structures for Polytechnics:

    • For Government Polytechnics = Rs 15,000-20,000/semester.
    • For Private Polytechnics = Rs 20,000-30,000/semester.
