    Hii
For getting shortlisted for good institute for MBA you need to appear and apss the entrance exam like CAT/MAT/SNAP/XAT.After this you would be called for GD and PI round. As you are a law graduate you can opt for MBA in HR or Corporate communication (specialized in business law).If you going for MBA in HR then XLRI would be the best one.You can also pursue CS with MBA or after MBA.CS is concerned with corporate laws and it would boost your career opportunities

Hi, I am a law student as well and thinking about doing MBA. From what I know, the number of law students going in for MBA is very less, though not non existant. Currently, law graduates generally don't go for MBA as those interested in corporate firms get a high packages with their LLB degree itself, or they go into practice. However, the combination of a law degree and MBA is considered to be a very good one since a person with both the knowledge of the legal system as well as management skills would have an edge over a say out and out finance guy. Also, to fine tune your knowledge of law with business management, maybe MBA in HR would be the best choice.

    Good luck ! :)

    Hi Sir,

Yes , surely you can do MBA ,having the law degree. Now comes the other mode of MBA ,that it will be benefit for your career growth ,so it all depends upon your subjects taken and even your practical experience which will you have in continuing your MBA .MBA is a professional degree ,which gives you the confidence to work with the mnc's with highly profile .There are many good schools which are conducting MBA like professional degrees .So it is very hard to say which are best apart for IIM's B- Schools. The specialization which is on boom everywhere in the country are like finance ,marketing hr and etc. So , you have to decide in which subject have keen interest as you are from Law Background which is completely related to Acts and Arcticles or consitution . And jobs which MBA holders gets in the MNC's are depend on their specialisation e.g. FINANCE - Business or Financial Analyst ,Marketing - Business Executive or Marketing Manager or Sales Manager these all desigination is depend upon the experience holding by the candidate .So , decide now you have choose in MBA i.e Specializaiton to the subject or a Fine College. Thanks

THE ONLY ELIGIBLITY REGARDING DEGREE NEEDED IS OF GRADUATION, SO YOU ARE ELIGIBLE TO GO FOR MBA. REGARDING THE COLLEGES- BEST COLLEGE IN INDIA ARE IIMs, IIT, FMS, XLRI , SYMBIOSIS etc. IF YOU WISH TO ABROAD, GO FOR OXFORD UNIV, CANADA UNIV AND OTHER VARIOUS EUROPEAN UNIVERSITIES. THE COMPETITION TO MAKE THROUGH ARE VERY TOUGH LIKE CAT, MAT, SNAP AND OTHERS.
MBA SPECILISATION YOU CHOOSE SHOULD BE ACCORDING TO YOUR PREFERNCE OF WORKING AREA AND YOUR INHERENT CAPABILITIES. SINCE YOU ARE A LAW GRADUATE, YOU CAN WORK AS A LEGAL ADVISOR TO YOUR FIRM AND HANDLE THE MATERS MORE EASILY. ALSO GOOD FIELDS ARE PUBLIC RELATION AND MARKETING. JOBS ARE GENERALLY OFFERED IN THE MARKETING SECTOR- SALES/FINANCE/EXECUTIVES etc.
PURSUING MBA AFTER LAW WILL PROVIDE YOU A WAY TO ENTER CORPORATE SECTOR IN WHICH YOU CAN DO WONDERS.
    BEST OF LUCK.......

hi..technically any graduate is eligible to do an master of business administration course in India if you clear the basic eligibility criteria of the college you want to apply for,but the very basic criteria for any college would be to clear the cat exam except few which conduct there own entrance tests.
some of the best mba colleges in our country are iims, xlri, symbiosis,sp jains etc.
but the point is that there is no way that you will be able to make use of your law knowledge any were in the business field and more over it would be bit tough for you to go through the subjects because of the mathematics involved so please take note of this before trying to prepare

Set your heart on an MBA? Philip Delves Broughton suggests a radical alternative: donít bother
Business schools have long sold the promise that, like an F1 driver zipping into the pits for fresh tyres, it just takes a short hiatus on an MBA programme and you will come roaring back into the career race primed to win. After all, it signals to companies that you were good enough to be accepted by a decent business school (so must be good enough for them); it plugs you into a network of fellow MBAs; and, to a much lesser extent, thereís the actual classroom education. Why not just pay the bill, sign here and reap the rewards?
