    Yes,


    You are eligible for NET exam after M-ed.

    NET is National Eligibility Test.

    It requires minimum Master degree from recognized university.

    You have done M-ed is eligible.

    You can go for the relevant subject in that you have done in Masters.


    NET is conducted by the UGC twice in a year.

    It conducted the exam for 2 post:

    Junior Research Fellowship

    Lecturership

    National Eligbility Test is conducted for making the post gradaute students eligible for becoming professor and pursuing Philosophical Course called Ph.D in any of their interessted stream.

    Academic Qualifications:

    Applicants are required to have completed their post graduation in Masters degree or else in any equivalent courses in,
    Humanities (including languages) and Social Sciences
    Forensic Science
    Environmental Science
    Computer Applications
    Electronic Sciences

    Eligibility criteria:-

    Candidate should be complete Post-graduation with atleast 55% of marks from a recognised university.

    5% of marks relaxation for OBC candidates.

    The candidate should be a citizen of india.

    Age details:-

    For JRF(Junior Research Fellowship) the minimum age limit is 19 years and there is no maximum age limit.

    NET stands for National Eligibility Test .

    UGC conduct this exam twice time in a year in the month June and December .

    The Educational Qualification is required for NET Exam is masters degree from recognized university with above 55% marks .

    Marks relaxation provide for SC/ST category , needed 50% in masters degree.Final year student are also applicable for NET Exam

    Yes , M.Ed candidate are applicable for UGC NET Exam .

    There is no age criteria for NET Exam.But for JRF your age should be below 28 years old.

    ## The minimum educational qualification required to apply for UGC NET examination is masters degree(postgraduation) with atleast 55% of marks and 5% marks relaxation for reserved category candidates & final year postgraduation students are also eligible to apply
    ## Maximum age limit to apply for Junior Research Fellowship is 28 years & for Lecturership there is no maximum age limit

    Hello,

    Yes , you are eligibile for National Elligibity Test having M.ed degree .

    For NET exam the required qualification is Post gradaution in any stream from Recognized University.

    UGC conducts NET for Generally two posts :
    * Junior Research Fellowship / JRF
    * Lecturership

    The Applicants who like to apply for NET must have post gradaute with 55% . Below 55% candidates are not allowed for NET .

    The candidates age should be minimum 19 years for JRF post and maximum 28 years. And no upper age is decided for Lecturership post .

    The candidates must have Nationality of India.

    At least applicant applying for the exam must have obtained 55% of the total mark in his graduation course.
    Applicant belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe or Physically Handicapped or Visually Handicapped have 5% percentage relaxation.
    Applicants who are waiting for their qulification to be declared are eligible for this exam.


    Age Limit and relaxation

    There is no upper age limit for candidates appearing only for eligibility for lectureship, but for Junior Reseach Fellowship maximum age limit is 28 years.
    Candidates from the above specified reserved categories are provided with 5 years relaxation.

    Exam Pattern:

    Paper I -Objective Type
    General Knowledge
    Current Affairs
    Reasoning Ability
    Quantitative Methods

    Paper II(Objective Type): Core subjects
    Paper III(Descriptive Type): Optional core subjects

    Important Dates:

    Application submission start date: 29/3/13
    Application submission end date: 25/4/13
    last date for receiving the documents at the test center: 2/2/13
    Examination date: 26/6/13

    Dear..

    If you want to be an Lecturer in any of the state as well as Central university or college then NET/SLET is necessary for that. Every year many candidate sit for the exam to clear the exam.

    Details are as follows :-

    NET Eligibility is as follows :-

    1. Candidate must be an Indian citizen
    2. Candidate from any stream are eligible
    3. You must have a post graduate degree
    4 Minimum percentage required is 55%
    5. Relaxation is available to reserved category
    6. Age limit is 28 years or less

    If you are a M.ed person then yes you are eligible for the exam. But please check with other eligibility criteria as well


    Pattern :-

    There will be 3 Papers in two session and they will be conducted on the same day. Paper will be as given below :-

    Paper I :- General awareness, Mental ability and comprehension
    Paper II :- Based on the subject selected by the candidate
    Paper III :- Based on the subject selected by the candidate

    SLET :- Dear various universities in different state of India also conducts the exam and here the exam is called as State Level Eligibility test. This marks are valid in that state only. Otherwise rest all the things are same.

    Eligibility criteria:-

    Candidate should be complete Post-graduation with atleast 55% of marks from a recognised university.

    5% of marks relaxation for OBC candidates.

    The candidate should be a citizen of india.

    Age details:-

    For JRF(Junior Research Fellowship) the minimum age limit is 19 years and there is no maximum age limit.

    For Lectureship candidates there is no age limits.

    University Grand Commission conducts national eligibility test (NET) two times in a year
    Eligibility criteria:
    Candidate should be complete masters graduation with atleast 55% marks from a recognised university (5% marks relaxation for SC/ST candidates).
    You must be 19 years and there is no upper age limit.
