Yes engineering colleges considers the diploma holders into their college in the 2nd year they can directly join instead of studying from the first year for this they need to write EECET exam.Now they can study as the other candidates and completes the btech as other candidates completes.

Candidates must maintain minimum of 70% aggregate to have good future in btech.

i) You can work as a applications chip designer if you are good at your subject knowledge.
ii) Some of the companies you can opt are Intel, IBM, Teradata, CISCO etc. which are considered giants regarding the ECE.
iii) You can even opt for a government job as supervisory engineers in various departments.
iv) You can even work in various telecommunication companies such as BSNL and other networks.
v) As ECE is closely related to computers you can even finally opt as a software engineer in any IT company

Many of the government universities are offering you for the correspondence course of ECE branch. let me tell you in detail that that the subjects are same as in the regular CEC branch but the difference that you are not required to take part in the practical and not required to go for the college if we are talking about the Rajasthan state then VMOU is the university which offers these types of course and the fees of these courses are also very low.
