Surely you can join for B.E/B.Tech in genetic engineering after 12th. This is one of the highly complicated and advanced branch of science.
The basic eligibility criteria for this is, one must complete his 12th in physics, chemistry, mathematics and biology as subjects.
Then you can go for any college by writing any entrance exam (JEE or any other) or directly using 12th marks.
