Re: What to do after 10th to become a Chartered Accountant? There is no such percentage requirement to be fulfilled in order to pursue CA(Chartered Accountancy) after completing senior secondary or higher secondary. CA is a course which can be pursued directly after competing 12th standard. But the institute that conducts this exam has not specified any percentage which is necessary to score to appear or this examination. So, you do not need to worry at all for the percentile, whenever you will score in 12th standard, you are eligible to appear for CA exam. The procedure to become a chartered accountant can be summarised as follows: Firstly you have to appear for an entrance exam which is called CPT(Common Proficiency Test). If you qualified the entrance exam , then you have to get registered for the intermediate level that is IPCC(Integrated Professional Competence Course). I f you qualified this exam then you would be eligible for the next level of exam Third phase is the final level that is CA final exam. But before that you have to complete three years of article ship under any individual or any firm of CA's. After qualifying third level, you would become a chartered accountant. !! Good Luck !!
