    [FONT="Book Antiqua"][SIZE="5"][SIZE="4"][B][I]Hiiiiiiiiiiiii,

    There will be an entrance exam conducted by the bank. If successful you will be called for the interview round. If you wish to join for a higher post the Probationary Officer is the next option. But for that you need to be a Graduate. You can choose any area of specialisation. Similarly to the clerical post there will be an entrance exam and interview round. If you are joining as a clerk then after the stipulated time you can appear for the internal test and move on to the next level. You need to make the career decision.

    Thank YO

    Generally all the banks asking the eligible as any under graduation degree , mean while you can prepare with the quantitative ability , for that you can refer the book called "quantitative ability " by R.S. Agarwal"

    you should also prepare your self for the personnel interview while studding itself, it will be better of you take accountancy course or mathematics courses in your Under graduation , it will be helpful for you to clear the first round of the PO exam

    Re: What should I do after 12th so as to get higher posts in Banks?

    For good jobs in Banks , you need to first of all compleate your graduation.
    Then you will be eligible for writing Bank PO exams of different banks..
    PO means probationary officers. PO stays on probation
    period for 1 year or so. It depends on Bank to Bank criterions.
    After compleating the probation period they become officers.
    They are given a department like credit analysis,
    personal banking, corporate banking, Forex etc.
    Then promotions depends on their performance and calibre.
    Also internal exams are held for promotion of officers.
    So the first step is the Probationary exam. So prepare well for it.
    You can start preparations for PO right from first year of your graduation.

    Hi friend... Ya ofcourse u have too many opportunities in banks now-a-days...But its difficult too u have to work hard to get into bank jobs after your 12th std dont wait for anybody just apply for any bank jobs u want there is no limit...In order to score good marks in bank exam then prefer PRATHIYOKTHA KIRAN it will be very useful to u its a monthly magazine which all candidate prefer...After 12th start preparing for bank exam as many as possible u spend ur full time to preparation for bank exam...if u r applying for clerk post then there will be four sections but there will be no stable sections available for various banks there will be changes in sections but u should concentrate more on Reasoning Ability,Numerical Aptitude...it wil be very useful to score more marks...in order to enter into bank jobs u have to score maximum marks then conformly they will select you...But keep in mind one thing before applying u have to check one thing Educational Qualification because they will confuse you by saying we need 12th std pass or matriculation or pass in graduation y i am saying this is because after the payment in bank they wont repay it...In order to get the payment challan u have to buy application form from magazine shop's orelse u can directly download from the website of the bank...All the Best....
