    Re: Can I appear in IES exam after completing B.Tech (CSE)?

    My dear friend.

    IES stands for Indian Engineering Services.

    It is a very prestigious discipline.

    As you have done B.Tech in CSE i.e Computer Science discipline you are not eligible for IES exam.

    IES exam is for students in the engineering field but for the following discipline:-

    --> Mechanical Engineering

    --> Civil Engineering

    --> Electronics and Communication Engineering

    --> Electrical Engineering

    So i am really sorry to say that you are not eligible for IES exam.

    Apart from that one need to fulfill the following requirements:-

    --> Age:- 21-30 for general, 21-33 for OBC and 21-35 for SC/ST candidates.

    --> Number of attempts:- 4 for general, 7 for OBC and unlimited for SC/ST candidates.

    I hope the information will be helpful.

    Regards
