    Hi,

    Eligibility Criteria for GME course:-

    1)You should have completed any one of the following courses in Graduation:-

    Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering
    Bachelor of Science in Engineering
    Bachelor of engineering in Naval Architecture

    2) You should have minimum 55% marks in Graduation/qualifying course.

    3) Your age should not be more than 28 years.

    4) In order to apply for this course your eye sight must be +/- 2.5 .

    5) You should be Physically fit.


    6) You must not have any colour blindness.

    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:


    MANDATORY:

    1.Engineering Degree from an AICTE approved College.
    [B E (Mech) / B Tech (Mech) / B Sc (Mech Engg) / B E (Naval Arch)]

    2.Minimum Marks 50% Overall.

    3.Minimum 50% Marks in English in either 10th or 12th Standard.

    4.Age: Below 28 years as on the date of start of Course.

    5.Medical fitness: certified by a doctor approved by Director General Shipping.

    6.Eye Sight: +/ - 2.5

    7.No Colour Blindness.

    PREFERENCE CRITERIA


    1.Sponsorship by Shipping Companies.

    2. Fluency in English.

    3.Minimum 65%overall in 8 Semesters.

    4.Extracurricular Activities: NSS / NCC / SPORTS.

    5.Family Members / relatives in Shipping.

    Dear friend,

    GME course is conducted for the candidates who have completed their Engineering course and want to make their career in Merchant Navy. Those candidates who have passed B.Tech course can also join Merchant Navy. For this they have to undergo GME course. There are various colleges in India which conducts this course. Through this course you can become a marine engineer. The duration of this course is around one year.

    Eligibility Criteria:-

    1)- You should have completed any one of the following courses in Graduation:-

    • Bachelor of engineering in Naval Architecture

    The GME Course aims to equip you with the Knowledge , Skills and Attitude required to work on ship as a Junior Engineer

    the basic eligibility required are
    -->. Engineering Degree from an AICTE approved college..

    friend Fluency in English is very important in this field so u need to have good command over the language ...
