My friend IAS is the biggest exam of the Indian Civil Services. This exam is the only exam which after clearing one gets a pen and authority to order just at age of 20's!!
That makes IAS the most popular.

To be eligible for this exam you have to be bachelor degree holder in any discipline. Also you must be 21 to 30 years of age. You must be physically fit and strong.
The exam is consist of a prelim exam followed by main exam followed by an interview. Then your fitness test is done. So these are the details of thd IAS . Similiar to this is the IPS which will take you to the police academics.

    Good luck.

Re: Can anyone tell the details of IAS?

Indian civil service examination is one of the toughest competitive exams among all other competitive exams of the country.
A candidate appearing for Indian Civil Services Exam must be at least 21 years of age and should not exceed 30 years of age. But in some cases these age bars are a bit relaxed. For example :- it can be maximized up to 5 years if a candidate belongs to SC/ST category, it can be maximized up to 3 years in case of any other backward classes, the upper limit can be relaxed to 5 years if someone is domiciled in Jammu and Kashmir.
and then the toughest exam is of the interview...
