    Necessary percentage in Post graduation course to be eligible for Central Government teacher jobs?

    Is it must to have 55% in my PG if i apply in central govt.schools

    I am an MA(B.Ed) with 54.59 % in my masters.My question is for a permanent post in central government schools is it a must 2 have 55% in my post graduation?Also when does the TET exams usually get conducted.

    Dear aspirant,

    You require 50% marks in your post graduation to apply in central govt. Schools.

    Post graduation would be done from recognized university.

    &

    B.Ed should also be done from recognized university i.e UGC approved.

    Only then you can apply for central govt. School jobs .

    You have completed your master degree that is sufficient.Most of the jobs by UPSC or state public commissions require degree instead of min marks.If you have good marks in graduation then it can play dual role for you. If you qualify the UGC-NET exam then you will be eligible for salary according to UGC norms.You can teach in any university according to your qualification.You can teach in following universities-

    Amity university

    KN Modi university

    LNMIT

    GNA

    PEC Chandigarh

    Thapar university

    SRM university
