    Hello friend,
It is not necessary to be a graduate from a reputed colleges. Eligibility criteria for IAS are given here under:-
1)Candidate should be age on 21 to 30.Relaxation for reserved categories(for SC/ST candidate relaxation is 5 yrs., 3 yrs. for OBC candidate).
2)Candidate must have a degree from a recognized university. No specified colleges for IAS exam.Private exam's student are also eligible for IAS exam.
    So go for it,
    All the best,
    Thank you,

    hi
If you wish to get selected for the Indian Administrative Services (IAS) you need to clear the Civil Service Exams which is conducted every year by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC)

A candidate is eligible to appear for Civil Service Exam only if :-

    1. The candidate must have completed his/her graduation from a recognized University in any stream.

    2. The candidate must be within the age limit of 21-30 years if general..21-33 years if OBC and 21-35 years if SC/ST.

    3. General candidates have a maximum of 4 attempts..OBC candidates have 7 and there is no limit for SC/ST candidates.

If you have done your graduation from a private university then also you are eligible provided that your University is AICTE/UGC recognized..

Candidates appearing for the exam have to clear 3 rounds :-

    1. Prelims = 2 objective papers on aptitude and general awareness.

    2. Mains = 9 subjective papers on graduation subjects and English.

    3. Final Interview.

    best of luck.
