as for as the salary is concerned you will be paid very well depending on the company you get job ion and also the field you are in and the demand of the that field in the market ,even then the payments are lot better than many other fields

No, B.Sc (Bachelor's in Science) and B.tech (Bachelor's in technology) are both different streams and are graduate degrees. you can go for either one of them. For B.tech., you have to be a pass out of higher secondary (10+2) in PCM stream with a minimum of 60%. B.tech is an engineering field which provide specializations such as Information Technology (IT), Computer Science (CS), Electronics & Communication (EC), Civil, Mechanical, Automobile, Chemical, etc. For pursuing B.tech, you will have to appear for entrance examinations such as IIT-JEE, AIEEE, SET, VITEEE, etc for admissions in colleges like IITs, NIT, and other private reputed universities. If you get admission for B.Tech. in a very good college in India and get placed in a good company or firm, then you can have salary packages ranging from 5-25 lakhs P.A. as starting packages. There is very great scope of engineering in India.

In old days there was no any short cut to get into Engineering courses. First candidates has to complete B.sc then he can find admission into 3 years Bachelor of Engineering degree.

But today things have been made easier enough. A 12th student having studied Pure or Non-Medical science is eligible to study Engineering. For that you have to pass entrance exams which are conducted either on all india level or state level. Today there are number of engineering entrance exams like- ISAT, IITJEE, AIEEE, VITEEE, KIIITEE etc.....

B.sc being a degree which taught the general and pure concepts of science, whereas in B.Tech only the things are taught which you have to apply for betterment of human beings.

    For example-

    1) In b.sc you will study about netons 3rd law, how it is used in Rocket propulsion etc. whereas in B.Tech you will learn to apply Newton's 3rd Law for making rocket propel.

    2) You will learn Archimedes principle that if any body displace greater volume of water then its mass it will float on water, whereas in Engineering this law will be applied for making ships, cargos etc.

Whereas for salary it depend upon various factors, out of which the most important are from which stream of engineering you are graduating and from where you are graduating (Which Institute).

no B.Sc is not required for doing B.tech. for doing btech u should have cleared CLass 12 exams and after that u have to give different examination such as IIt,AIEEE, UPTU, bits Pilani and many more.
B>tech course depends on the branch for which u have opted for, like in electronics you have to study about networking and communication.

and as far as the salary is concerned after Btech u can expect a good start , but it also depends on the company and market demands.
i hope this will hhelp till some extent
    all the best

It is not necessary to pursue B.Sc for doing B.Tech. For doing B.Tech students must have clear the +2. It should complete it from a recognized education board. If you want to study the program from top institutes, you must score minimum 50% of marks. Your age should not be less than 17 years. There are various entrance tests. Some of them are CET, AIEEE etc. IITs select applicants through JEE tests only. You must score well in the entrance tests for getting admission. Diploma holders can get into the program through lateral entry entrance exams. There are chances in defence, space research etc. The jobs are available in the private and public sector.

No it's not necessary and even nobody does this.
For B.E/B.Tech the eligibility is 10+2 with Physics , Cemistry and Maths.
For admission to a good institute you need to clear various engineering entrance examination.
The salary depends on the institute from where you compleated your course, the grades or marks you obtained,
and the level of knowledge you have.
