No, it's not necessary to do any extra courses for a job but i will ask you to go for it since it will just equip you with better programmes.

And prefer doing language courses as they will help you when you will sit for your Interview.

But then again it's not necessary to do extra course to get good jobs in software Industry.

......Punj

hiiiiiiii friend,

you can surely get a good job after completing your b.tech,
but for a very good job you should do some other courses like java, redhat, etc because these courses are very much required for the job.

so i suggest you to do some courses to gain some extra knowledge and for a better job.
hope it helps..
good luck......

Its not important or necessary to do any other course for getting good job in software companies.....You should be good in Speaking...have a good knowledge of your field and capable enough to solve the various problems....if you want you can do other course as it will increase your own knowledge and it put a good and better impression on selection team......

Hello friend!
After B.tech there are many options and courses you can do.First you have to decide your field of interest. Choose field which you are interested so that you can enjoy your work and achieve your goal.
>>If you are interested in programming go for courses like C++, JAVA etc.
>>And if you are interested in networking you can go for Microsoft Certifications and Cisco certifications. Certifications like CCNA and CCNP include hard core networking and if worked upon properly have good scope. But everything depends on your interest.
>> If you are more interested in web development, you can go for basic HTML and PHP alongwith javascripting.

There are also many demanding courses in market like:>>
1.Clouds computing.
2.Android
3.Mainframes
4.SAP ETC

Just choose your area of interest and pursue your course and achieve your goal and make a good future a head.
