    NDA Exam is written examination.
    The qualified candidates can be have physical fitness test.

    First stage of NDA is a written exam which if you qualify you get to the physical and medical stage.You need to clear the SSB interviews after clearing the written exam.The written exam requires you to have a minimum of 60% in science in intermediate from a state board or ICSE or CBSE or any other recognized board.Physically you should be fit with appropriate height to weight ratio.You should not be color blind.

    First nda exam is for national defense academy. The eligibility is degree graduation. You first write written test and you are qualified means you have some good fitness tests like body measurements, health check up, physical tests . Then only you are selected. Good luck

    The NDA exam is conducted by the UPSC for the entry in various armed forces such as Indian Air force,Indian Army and Indian Navy as an officer.

    The detailed eligibility criteria for the NDA exam is given below:

    (i) For Army Wing of National Defence Academy
    Candidates applying for the Army Wing through NDA exam should be
    12th Class pass.

    (ii) For Air Force and Naval Wings
    Candidates applying for the Air force and Navy should be 12th Class
    pass with Physics and Mathematics candidates not having Physics and Maths will only apply for the Army Wing.

    AGE LIMIT
    The candidate applying for the NDA should have age between 16 - 19 years at the time of training.

    NOTE: Candidates who are appeared in the 10+2 exam are also eligible to apply for the NDA exam.

    NDA exam is both objective and physically fitness exam.
    this exam will be in two phase.
    in first phase objective exam take palace.
    in second phase physically exam take palace

    NDA MEANS NATIONAL DEFENSE ACADEMY. BASICALLY NDA IS A WRITTEN EXAM WHICH
    IS CONDUCTED BY UPSC . NDA IS CONDUCTED TWICE IN A YEAR .
    ELIGIBILITY FOR NDA IS THAT A CANDIDATE MUST 12 TH PASS .
    AGE LIMIT IS 16 1/2 -19 YEARS .
    A CANDIDATE CAN APPLY WHEN HE I STUDYING IN 12 th CLASS .
    ONCE A CANDIDATE CLEAR NDA WRITTEN EXAM .
    THEN HE HAS TO FACE SSB . AFTER CLEARING SSB . HE HAS TO PASS MEDICAL .ONCE HE CLEARED ALL
    PROCESS THEN HE WILL GO FOR TRAINING IN IMA . THERE HE WILL HAVE TO DO LOTS OF PHYSICAL

    NDA exam is both the written and and physical exam.because when you clear the written nda then after you are eligible for physical exam.
    these exams are held 2 times in a year.when you clear that exam then you go for the interview then after you go for the physical exam.

    NDA - Stands for National Defence Academy

    This examination is conducted by the Union public service commission (UPSC) twice in a year.

    As my knowledge there are some basic and important eligibility criteria are described below-

    AGE: - Your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years.

    NOTE: - Only unmarried males are eligible.

    Educational Qualification : - candidates must passed 10+12th with Physics and Maths and have to minimal 60% in 10th.

    Those are completed 12th standard without science group are eligible for NDA exam in the department of Indian Army.

    NOTE : - Candidates must be physically and medically fit for the NDA test.

    NDA stands for National Defense Academy and is organized by UPSC every year

    Physical requirements are:


    Height :You should be 165cm. In the case of candidates coming under SC/ST/OBC the height required is 160cm

    Chest :- Minimum requirement in the case of male is 84cm and they should be able to expand the chest for 5cm.

    Eye sight :- 6/12 or 6/9 distant vision for worse eye and 6/6 or 6/9 distant vision for good eye. Near vision for worse eye is J2 and for good eye is J1.


    NDA is conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) every year twice.
    NDA I and
    NDA II

    There are 3wings in NDA:
    1.Indian Army
    2.Indian Airforce
    3.Indian Navy

    If you are interested to go for Indian Army then YOU CAN HAVE YOUR INTER FROM ANY STREAM.
    BUT, you must have your inter with Physics,Maths,Chemistry Background when you want to go for Airforce or NAVY Wings...

    Your age must be between 16.5 to 19years.
    You should be Unmarried male.
    You must be PHYSICALLY FIT.

    Selection Process of NDA :

    The selection procedure into the NDA is separated into 3 phases.

    A written exam that is carried out by the Union Public Service Commission.
    An interview will be conducted by the Service Selection Board.
    A medical test will be carried out by the Service Medical Board.

    So, you must have to qualify in both tests.
