National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra (NIT Kurukshetra), Haryana

National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra, is an engineering and technology college. It was started in 1963 as Regional Engineering College. This college is a combined venture of the Government of India and the State Government of Haryana. Today NIT is providing education in a choice of courses of Engineering and Technology at the UG level and PG level. The College provides brilliant services for advanced research in the promising areas of science and technology. Syllabus and the educational programs in the college are always being updated to meet the rising demands and needs of the country in various areas of technology. The college is allied to the Kurukshetra University, Haryana.

Admission Process in NIT

The entrance to all the B. Tech courses is through a Common Engineering Entrance Test (CEET). The same is conducted by Guru Jambheshwar University. Eligibility for the various BE courses is that the candidates should complete three year polytechnic diploma or equivalent.

Infrastructure of NIT

The college has both a conference room and also hall with a seating capacity of at least 1000 students. There is also an interview room where the students are trained for presentations and also interviews. 24 hours internet service is available. Also the campus has a good network connection. Other than these the institute has appointed a Medical practitioner within the campus, encourage students to participate in both indoor and outdoor activities. Hostel facility is offered for all the students.
