    My D.O.B is 6th March 1984. Am I eligible for bank clerical exam or not?

    Your date of birth is 6th march 1984 so now your age will be about 28 years old so as of now you are eligible for clerks exam i think this is your last chance because after this year you will be 29 so you will not be eligible for clerks but you can apply for PO's if you have completed your degree....




    DETAILS ABOUT BANK CLERK EXAM

    1) You must be completed 10+2 with any stream . But you 10+2 percentage must be above 55.

    2)Your age should be between 18 to 28 years.

    Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC candidate.

    The main key subject for BANK CLERK exam is maths ,English and general knowledge.

    So you can prepare all above subject.


    DETAILS ABOUT BANK PO EXAM


    You should have completed your graduation degree from any recognized university are eligible for BANK PO exam.

    They are not require any kind of percentage marks in graduation for this time.

    But your age must be in between 20 to 30 years.Age relaxation is provide only for SC/ST/OBC candidate .For Sc/ST candidate have age relaxation is 5 years and for OBC candidate it is 3 years.

    BANK PO exam consist of two steps 1) Written test 2)Personal Interview.

    For written test you must be prepare for mathematics and general knowledge.Also you must have basic knowledge computer field.

    Every bank set their own criteria .So it is not perfect criteria all BANK PO exam.

    A new restriction has been imposed on the number of attempts for the candidates. For general number of attempts is 4, for OBC it is 7 and for SC/ST.

    Hello,
    You are not eligible for clerical level exams as you have crossed the age limit maximum 28 as on 1st May 2012 (if in notification its written on this date you should not cross 28 years of age)..
    It all depends on the notification given in various exams that one should not have completed 28 years of age...
    Prepare for the PO level with bit more efforts then clerk level as you may or may not get one chance if they ask for age as on 1st January 2012...
    Bank PO will give you good profile and salary...

    Details About Bank Clerk:

    Bank Clerk exam is one of the Bank exams and this exam is conducted for candidate to join in for the post Bank Clerk.

    This exam is conducted on depending the vacancy of the post in the respected bank which is conducting the exam.

    There are criteria's which you need to satisfy in order to apply for the Bank clerk exam and they include such as:

    > Nationality
    > Age Limit

    Yes of course , you are eligible to apply for this examination .

    To join in Clerical examination , you have to crack the IBPS(Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) Clerical examination .

    The Common Written examination will be conducted by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection as pre-requisite for selection of personnel for clerical carde post in public sector banks . This examination is conducted for recruitment of 19 public sector banks .

    Eligibility Criteria for Clerical :-

    To apply for this examination , candidate must have passed intermediate(12th) with 50% aggregate marks from a recognized School or equivalent qualification and relaxation is given to the reserved categories OR graduate degree with any desire subject from a recognized University or equivalent qualification and there is no percentage bar required .

    candidate must not below 18 years and not above 28 years and upper age limits is applicable for this examination .

    Selection procedure of this examination :- Written exam , Personal Interview .

    Exam Pattern of Clerical :-



    Syllabus for this examination :- Quantitative Aptitude , Reasoning , English Language , Computer awareness , General knowledge and Descriptive questions .

    Application Process :-

    Cost of application :- 50 / - for reserved categories , 350 for all the other candidates .

    Candidate must secure at least 24 marks in each section for this examination and 21 marks for reserved categories in each section .
