    hi friend

sorry, you are not eligible for JRF but eligible for lectureship.

NET stands for national eligibility test.

---> the examination is conducted by UGC (university grants for commission).

the eligibility criteria for NET examinations are listed as below:

1.you must have done your post graduation in any stream from a recognised university.

2.your % of marks in post graduation should not be less than 55.

3.NET examinations are conducted for two posts:

    -->JRF :junior research fellowship

--->for JRF ,the upper age limit is 28 years.

---> for lectureship ,ther is no upper age limit.

for further information you can visit www.ugc.ac.in.

    hope the information helps you.

    all the best

Thumbs down Re: My D.O.B is 04/04/84. Am I eligible to give next upcoming NET exam?

    Dear friend

    NET : National Eligiblity Test.
This examination is conducted by UGC.

BUT your age is 28 year and 3 months

AND the age required for NET is 28 years. So you can not go for NET.

But if you belong ST/OBC category than you can go for NET.
    THANK YOU
