There is no need to get tensed friend. Now a days there are many options and many career opportunities one could explore. Usually Mtech in Nanotechnology is pursued by graduates in nanotechnology or those with graduation in PCM subjects or life science. So it is unlikely that graduates in Pharmacy are admitted to Mtech program, though you have maths at +2 level. Pharmacy itself an area with lots of opportunities, you can always pursue masters and then get into pharmaceutical industry and clinical research firms. If you want to pursue a management line, you have MBA as an option after your B pharm. These areas have lots of opportunities and you dont need to get tensed by any chance. Some of the good colleges where you can do Mpharm are Maharishi Dayanand university, College of Pharmacy, RKSD College and so on. So friend please continue with the pharmacy line and go for either masters or MBA.

The scope and application of Nanotechnology is growing tremendously. But it is generally seen that Nanotechnology is pursued by graduates who have taken their graduation in Nanotechnology or in Life science subject. The eligibility criteria for Mtech Nano technology is a Btech/ B.E degree in Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering or Pharmaceutical technology with a minimum of 65% marks. So it will be a better option to choose MS in Nano medicine course for you to continue your career.

i've finished sslc with 88% and 2nd puc pcm with 96% and BE with 85% .I'm eligible to do MTech in Nanotechnology

I think there is no chance for B.Pharma student to get M.Tech
in nano technology.
so you should better select further degree in Pharma line then. you can get job .

Elgibility criteria for Nanotechnology for general M.sc is such that candidate must have Bachelor degree in any of the followings:-

• Mathematics

I don't think so you are eligible for M.Tech in nanotechnology.
The eligibility for M.Tech nanotechnology is a bachelor's degree from a recognized university with Physics,Chemistry,Maths and Life Sciences.
You can continue with post graduate degree in your subject i.e Pharmacy.

no my friend u cant do m.tech directly aftr b.pharma as pharmacy is a medical line and m.tech is engg,..

so u cant do it..
although i think after ur b.pharma u become eligible for GATE test so u can appear in that to get into the engg stream..

Right now in India this course is available only in Postgraduate level.

M.Tech is the Master's in Technology course which is basically a post graduation course. Most people opt for it after they end up with their B.Tech.


--> Now as far as the Eligibility for M.Tech is concerned, you should be a graduate in B.E/B.Tech/B.Pharmacy/B.Arch to apply for the GATE.


--> GATE stands for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering and it is to be attempted if you want to take up masters in M.Pharmacy.


--> I am really sorry to say, you cannot do M.Tech in Nanotechnology with your graduation in Medical field.


But you can always go for M.Pharmacy through GATE 2012.

B.Pharm is the Biological subject ,but Nanotechnology is the Science subject;;;

You have to complete Bachelor degree in any of the Engineering field related to Nanotechnology
